Who doesn't love kinnan.

Although, more seriously, Jarrett using MLW Radio numbers as possible draws isn't the best idea.

From the spoilers it sounds like a mess. A terrible terrible mess. Suicide of all fucking people was reintroduced. Jobbed twice in the same taping. Bruce Prichard isn't an authority figure, but he is. LAX are flicking the V's, Josh Mathews has turned heel during an angle with Karen Jarrett...

Fucks sakes

Oh, looks like THE BIG NAME isn't there either. Unless you count Matt Morgan who's there backstage apparently, according to Moron Satin. Jim Ross, who was my bet to be honest, is at Bellator tonight, so unless he's cutting pretapes for this taping over the rest of the weekend then turning up, it's a washout.

Mind you, I hear Petey Williams, Nikita Koloff and Raven are free. After all, when TNA promises a big name it's always fucking Raven or Norman Pace.

No Steiner? I'm most disappointed.

Kinnan is the bomb though. I loved him in the Wilfpac.

Just getting to back to this weeks show. Fucking hell almighty. The turnover of talent and creative can't be any worse than this tripe. And that's taking the insufferable Del Rio into account.

Josh Matthews gave the worst performance i have ever witnessed, i get it...he's being a heel but it was awful, laughable. I need him away from my Wrestling life, talentless whelk.

The main event was a monster clusterfuck, josh barnett was exposed terribly in a 10+ minute match, lashley did his best but fucking barnett needs to go. Awkward movement, unrealistic shit offence.

It's now 2 weeks removed from the Edwards/Richards angle and they aint followed up on it, at all. The hottest angle in the company has been cold for 2 weeks. How the hell does this happen.

After seeing this give me Del Rio and Matt Morgan, i don't even care. Wrestleuk don't fucking dare defend this or i'm throwing my laptop at the dog.

More coverage related if anything instead of that.

I wish they would move fans in the front row out the way if they're not paying attention. Big lass front and centre with her back to the camera nearly the entire show on her phone.

What will the impact crowd even look like now? Last time I watched a good quarter (probably an overstatement but there was defo a lot of fluorescent paint and fingerless gloves) of the crowd seemed like they were dressed as Charismatic Enigma era Jeff Hardy, so presumably a lot of them lot will be gone, and the crowds were already looking pretty pitiful at even this point

People that listen to Vince Russo on Podcast One will get to hear him and Disco discuss this on Monday but I watched it on Friday night and Russo says he had a conversation with Dutch Mantel earlier in the week and when Russo asked him how he was he said he was just done writing 10 episodes of Impact Wrestling and a PPV on his own. Russo says this is crazy and that no man alone in 2017 should be writing 10 weeks of wrestling on their own and also Dutch is 67 years old, which shouldn't have anything to do with the quality of the shows but when you have people that have been in the business for decades.....and they only know one way of doing it, you're gonna get that same way all the time.

It's no different than 71 years old Vince McMahon thinking babyfaces and heels acting a certain way.

What does Jeff Jarrett know? Wrestling. The same wrestling he's always done.

When you go back to that well and you keep picking the same people to do the same jobs you're gonna get the same results. You're not gonna get anything new and Dutch Mantel writing 10 episodes and a PPV is just gonna be more of the same, if you like the first episode you'll probably like the other 9 but it's just gonna be basic wrestling. TV audiences in 2017 are so sophisticated now that they want more from their TV programs. The wrestling business seems to be stuck in this time warp bubble. Bruce Prichard is back there. Konnan is meant to be appearing on TV there. It's the same names getting recycled. The WWE does the exact same thing and they too churn out the exact same thing every week, every year. Nothing changes.

And of course no disrespect intended to Dutch Mantel, he has had good creative ideas in the past and probably still does for the future but the wrestling business, this business seems to think that you need wrestling people booking the shows, it's not  a wrestling show, it's a TV SHOW and when they start treating it like one then maybe things will change for them.

Well yeah, they have TV tapings this week which includes multiple episodes of iMPACT, Xplosion and a PPV to do. Probably that.

But right now that's the format, and should be the same again for April. It's poor and they need to find a way of spacing out the tapings so it gives them more time inbetween to breathe and see what works.

Right now the product on screen isn't the most important, it's about setting up the right environment off camera and whole company structure. Which has been missing/under budgeted for years.
