Who would the wwe pick up roster wise?

I think they would jump at the chance at bringing angle back if he is fit and well. Bully ray i think would be great as a heel. Hardy if he has cleaned his act up would look like a big star again. Those 3 are possible i think but who else?

Roode,storm,joe,ey,aries,abyss,ec3,gunner,

Magnus, anderson and mvp?? It would be hard to see any of them in (back) the wwe apart from maybe roode

All those mentioned have had their contracts up loads of times over the years. Its not like they were under lock and key for years and years. WWE could have had them all several times. Its not like its a WCW situation. Apart from Hardy (who is in TNA for the lack of dates, and probably will be back at some point anyway), everyone would rather be in WWE. Angle and Bully Ray went looking for work perviously and was turned away.Bully Ray has the honour of injuring Batista, Triple H and Randy Orton in the space of a few months a decade ago, which at least Orton and Batista hasnt forgotten. They dont rate him at all in WWE. Most think he's a small cocked bully who complains when he gets hit to hard. He headbutted Pat Pattersons boyfriend (the lad out of the French tag team) at a house show as well, so he made enemies with everyone. As far as Angle goes, Vince always said he doesn't want a dead Olympic Gold medalist on his watch. The publicity would be horrible for him. So the question marks have always been there for him.

And most of the TNA roster are in their mid-30s and WWE never showed any interest previously. Storm and Roode might be past the limit WWE are looking for. Especially now when they just hired Steen, KENTA and Devitt. Development is so packed they never took Adam Cole and Ricochet. This is a real bad time to be looking for work in wrestling. WWE are more looking to fire than hire right now.

The funniest thing in all this is that Low Ki and Davey Richards are probably going to have to pretend to retire again.

They'll probably get their own back and leave all the TNA originals to work the indies. Dudleys, Hardys, Angle and that's it probably.

What would wwe want their own back for? Tna have never even been thought of by the wwe, they have never been competition really have they

I'm just thinking if in a world where WWE will take anyone from TNA, it'll be the big stars there. Dudleys, Hardys, Angle. It sure as fuck won't be the likes of Abyss or ODB. TNA's originals are all either big fishes in small ponds or past it.

Latest TNA TV situation update, according to PWInsider (Scherer):

At current, TNA has no new deal in place for Impact. When TMZ reported earlier this week that Spike has broken off negotiations and told TNA and told them they were not renewing the series, it created a day of hell for the office, who had no idea it was coming because according to numerous sources Spike never told them any such thing.

Currently, TNA is still talking with Spike (which was confirmed when we asked SpikeTV for comment) as well as other outlets. Obviously, negotiations haven't gone well enough to sign a deal, but the sides are still talking. They may or may not come to a deal.

UTA is handling the negotiations for TNA and then reporting back to the office, including Dixie Carter. From what I was told, she has not personally been involved in negotiations, which makes sense as TNA hired UTA to do that very thing for them.

Out of anyone from the past decade or so in WWE, I'd say MVP was as big a waste of opportunity as anybody not called Chris Masters. On that basis, I'd like to see him given another run.

By all accounts Lashley has come on leaps and bounds recently so him returning could be something to look forward to.

I'd like to see a Bully Ray return but as Ian said, that looks very unlikely. The same goes for Angle. Personally, I can take or leave Jeff Hardy but there'd be no harm in him returning so long as he's cleaned himself up.

AJ Styles and Samoa Joe are the interesting ones. If they're ever going to make a name for themselves in WWE then it's now or never. As much as I like Roode, Storm and Aries, I don't think any of them have what it would take to make a real difference in WWE. There was a time when I thought that Roode was the next big thing but it's not a view I hold any longer.

Angle has made it crystal clear that he wants to come back to WWE once his contract is up. If you believe what he says, he's been sober almost a year now in an attempt to sort himself out and make himself employable to them. I think he would well on a limited date 'special attraction' contract. If he can convince WWE that he is clean and pass the medicals, it's a win/win situation.

Could see Jeff Hardy coming back for short runs like RVD and Jericho do.

Other than those two, there's not many others over in TNA that I could see WWE taking an interest in. Their best guys are either too old or WWE rejects.

I hope another company comes to the forefront, but at present, Wrestling is much poorer without it.

How? TNA isn't competition to WWE so it doesn't make WWE better. TNA isn't providing loads of wrestlers with secure, full-time work. And it hasn't been any use as a TV show in its own right. All it's really been good for is keeping Kurt Angle in whatever the fuck he takes to make his eyes do what they do. What exactly has been lost when TNA dies?

This is a laugh:

Depsite what Vince Russo posted on Twitter (which we mentioned earlier), the story I have received is that he was called by John Gaburick and fired today. One source told me that Gaburick, in jest, suggested that TNA and Russo no longer work together. It was not an option however as Gaburick then fired Russo. Russo then clung to the word "suggested" in his tweet, which is elsewhere on the site. Given the headache Russo has become of late, his firing was expected.

THIS IS WHY YOU DONT HIRE HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE! You cant even sack him without the truth getting twisted. The bloke is insane. Some Christian.

I could see them bringing Magnus in and possibly Gunner. I'd like to think that Roode would get a shot too. Old Rob Terry could be an outside shot too.

I really couldnt see rob terry in the wwe. He looks great yes but he is shit in the ring and on the microphone. He is best off going back to porn

I wonder how good UTA are in these sort of situations?

Obviously they were hired by TNA to talk for them but I suppose that no matter how bad something is if you are gifted enough at selling things you can pretty much sell anything.

I know UTA have a fairly good reputation. They are really going to have to use all their skills to sell TNA however.
