Didn't that whole storyline get dropped because Brooke Hogan got engaged IRL to her actual boyfriend? Sounds like Bully kayfabing in interviews again, though a lot of places have picked up on the Velvet Sky thing.

Apparently, they broke up earlier this year. Right around the time Sabin left TNA.

Just saw the video of the ending of the main event on impact, Lashley really knows how to sell a piledriver followed by a spike DDT. Back on his feet about 20 seconds later. Surprisingly, with all the shit TNA throws out nowadays, that is the one thing I picked up on that I dis-liked.

So, I was really digging Eric Yooung - Fighting Champion, but because TNA they've put the strap on fucking Lashley.

Their lack of thought just baffles me. They crown a new champion but instead of having the new champion be the focus as you go off the air, you bring back Roode and have him go after MVP. Makes your champ look unimportant, and wastes an angle you could have kept for another week.

They could even do the angle on this show if they'd just changed the title at the pay per view. Not doing it on the pay per view and then doing it on impact is precisely why no one buys their shows.

Apparently the 800 seat Manhattan Centre tapings have not sold out.

 

Apologies if this has been mentioned already but - ouch!

In all fairness, usually TNA sell most tickets just days before the event.

 

You buy a WWE ticket because of the brand, TNA doesn't have that. You don't know who's going to be on the show until like a week before hand usually and you know it won't sell completely out so there's no rush. People just wait and see if they fancy it last minute, or at least that's what I do.

I have never wanted to see Lashley anywhere near a World Championship but it's not a typical nonsensical TNA move as it gives Heel faction #632 some power and will give an opportunity for an underdog X-Division Champion to step up at Destination X. The couple of 'option C' matches have provided the crowd with a plucky challenger against a dominant force so it looks like TNA are happy with this template.

 

Saying all this, if Lashley defends against fucking Sanada on a big show then I can't see Sanada having the crowd care too much about the whole thing.

How's this for random. Turns out Rob Feinstein worked as on-air security at last night's TV taping. Even made it on TV - was one of the security people telling Gail & Taryn to leave the building.
