It does sound like an interesting concept, but then thinking about it, I could see it being rubbish. Does Keller these days ever react to anything in wrestling differently than any 15 year old gimp online does? I haven't heard much of him in years because of that, but caught him doing the "stop pushing Roman, Vince" thing on a podcast or something around WrestleMania time.

Payback spoiler:

I'm up for revelling in salty tears of idiots, mind, so Keller Reacts could be consistently good for that.

Of course, Meltzer always provides potential value for taking something the wrong way due to his condition.

Missed this. Yeah, most of the time, they're taking the piss out of the wrestling journalists. Having listened to a few episodes now, I will say that the hosts talk a bit too much. But I'd say give it a go.

It's well worth a listen and they hit their stride quite early on aswell. If you go from the start of 1995 as a jumping in point you should be pretty grand, and in that episode comes the running joke about how often Lex Lugar adjusts his pants, but as a one off before that go for Royal Rumble 94 to get the full benefit of the recurring references to Marty Janetty "ascending to main event status".

Speaking of pants, the early episodes have Adam rating Razor Ramon's pants based on colour and finish and I can't remember which episode it is exactly from but there is a good conversation about transitioning from tights or to trunks to 'Main Event Pants'

Forgot to mention, in the Royal Rumble episodes they've done they do have them doing the Rumble Match itself as commentary which you can stick on and see it as they do if you have the DVD or stick it on the network

Echo the NewGen love. As someone who fell in love with wrestling again at age 12 in 1997, and particularly the Bret heel turn/Austin/US-Canada storyline, recent episodes have been a treat, but yeah the 1995 ones are amazing.

Bret Hart's joined Yahoo Radio and will have 2 podcasts a week starting from tuesday.

Each Tuesday Bret Hart’s Sharpshooter Podcast will feature Bret and his crew talking all about the hottest headlines and latest news from the world of professional wrestling.

Each Friday Bret will be taking fans on a trip down memory lane with Hart Family Vault where he recalls one of his classic wrestling matches and answers questions from fans who use the hashtag #BretHartRadio on Twitter.

Just listening to Teddy Hart on AOW, had no idea he fell into the Escort world for a bit, threesomes with his wife, he'd even bring the cats along. He's got a mad tale to tell. Decent listen, regardless of how credible it all is.

EDIT: and Colt picked him up on using the word 'retard', even if it briefly derailed Teddy on anther one of his ludicrous tangents. I begrudgingly respected him for that.

For more Teddy Hart madness I recommend picking up 'Best Friends with Teddy Hart' (LINK).

Don't know if I'm supposed to put it in this thread or not, but a couple of mates and I recently started a podcast (you know, because there aren't enough already) called the Royal Grumble and it'd be really helpful to get some feedback on it. The first few shows were a bit poor, owing to low quality recording equipment, but I feel like we've started to hit our stride on it in the last couple of shows.

We're trying to keep it to under an hour as I feel like that's probably the optimum listening time for a podcast not featuring any recognised names, but apart from that I'd really like to identify what works and what doesn't about it so we have scope to improve.
As such, this week's show is part of a semi-regular feature we're calling "Career Mode"; a few weeks ago, we did one on Scott Steiner's WWE tenures and that proved to be our most popular show, so we're trying to repeat that with DDP this week.

Any and all comments would be appreciated, both positive and negative. Many thanks in advance!
