Yeah, seems a smart enough chap too. Pity Cabana doesn't get many decent guests any more.

Talk is Jericho has Bryan Gerwirtz this week. I don't think he's ever done much in public. It's really interesting. Gerwirtz has always been an anonymous "big bad" like Kevin Dunn where everyone is supposed to hate them but you never get their side of it. It's long but there's loads more Jericho could pushed him on in future episodes.

Bret Hart's either hilarious or a bit mental, depending on your view point (probably somewhere in the middle).

Bret buried Rollins recently, saying something about him being unsafe for breaking Cena's nose. Rollins responsed by saying his feelings were hurt and Bret was his hero. Bret responsed in a fucking totally outthere manner, calling him a baby bitch and having hurt feelings is better than having a broken nose.

It was like woah! There's no taking the high ground with this bloke.

Been listening to some podcasts lately with who I expected to be good interviews.
The Steve Austin one with Hornswoggle was interesting but nothing fantastic, he was fresh off a firing and had nothing but good things to say.
The Steve Austin one with Enzo and Cass was boring, but they carry themselves so well.
The Jim Ross one with Kevin Sullivan was really interesting, but the entire 1st part was about nothing to do with them. Part 2 touched on the Benoit stuff, but made very little, if any, mention of Sullivan's WCW days. Really disappointed as I've been watching the old Nitros and Sullivan stands out like a sore thumb as someone with such an interesting story to tell, but there's not much of his Benoit feud, the Dungeon of Doom, his booking days, etc. It's all 1960s promoting and then straight to the Benoit killings.

He's a miserable cunt.

Rollins episode just makes you love him even more. He has to do the switch with Roman Reignss soon.

The latest episode of New Generation Podcast, #62 Monday Night Raw Is War, features a guest turn from Bryce Remsburg and Mike Quackenbush.

It's a whopper of a episode too, clocking in at 3hrs35mins

Can't speak to the quality as I've never got round to it but Sullivan and MSL do week by week reviews of Nitro on the MLW Network. Used to be called Helluva Deal but I believe it's just called MSL & Sullivan now.

I wish Bryce Remsburg and Mike Quackenbush could be on New Gen more. They were really, really enthused and into it. Total geeks for that era.

Really enjoyed Kenny Omega on JR's podcast this week, great listen, proper likeable chap.

Obviously you get the usual JR being a cantankerous whopper and it comes across like he's giving a seminar at times, "do this"....."you don't ever want to do that", but it's worth putting up with for Kenny.

Russo was quite bearable on Austin's this week. Austin seemed in a stroppy mood so was quite opiniated

Looking forward to the Russo podcast. Jim Ross' podcasts are decent but his impressions are fucking grim, especially Terry Funk.
