Ricky Knight and family on tv

Thought it was quite good,I was expecting Channel 4 to make pro-wrestling look like a joke (like most mainstream media tend to do) so was pleasantly surprised in that regard.Saraya stole the show in my opinion though, she came across as a top quality person who just wants the best possible futures for her kids.

Great to see Paige doing so well over in FCW/NXT too.

Loved Ricky's quip about the lads wrestling under masks being on the dole!

I thought that was an excellent documentary. I don't think it harmed British wrestling in the slightest, it came across as a good old fashioned underdog story. I for one will be rooting for Britani, as well as for her brothers to get signed. And the airport scene brought the father out in me, as a dad myself I could only imagine the emotions the family was going through.

I thought it was an excellent program that showed British Wrestling for what it really is, both good and bad - the lack of glitz and glamour and the hardship of having children involved in the business ... the segment at the airport as they said goodbye to Britani Knight was very touching, for me personally it touched home as something that myself and my wife may potentially be faced with as our 2 sons grow up further into this business, and hopefully our daughter too (planning her future before she's even born!).

A job well done to channel 4 for not trying to make a joke out of the business or to expose the business, I think they portrayed how it is for that one particular family who have been in this business for so long together - a true inspirational story of a loving family who started with nothing other than each other and a dream, moving onto one of (for now) their children making it big time and living the dream!

Well done Knight Family - a credit.

I though the show was brilliantly done, I've seen a lot of all of the nights bar Britani over the years at various shows up and down the country and it was nice to put them all together as a family. It didn't pry into there private lives too much or try and make the business out to be a joke. It was great to show the hard times of the business as well by showing how bad some houses can be and Ricky talking to Saraya about having to make up the wages. I have a lot of respect forte sacrifices they must have made over the years to keep shows running. On the other side it was great to see some packed houses on the show to.

My only criticism was they referred to Bournemouth as East Bourne on the show I believe, knew it was the Pavillion as soon as they showed the ring.

Good show. Depicted British Wrestling as it largely is, without too much of an agenda to either promote or criticise it. Honest and refreshing. I thought the Knights came across as good people too. I can see this programme doing better with a non-wrestling audience than most wrestling-centric documentaries do; the themes are universal as stated.

The Football365 forum verdict:

Every single one of those fellas has slung it up the youngest, guaranteed.

Paige' as she's now known is hawt, in a chavvy kind of way.

She'll be doing porn in 5 years

The daughter can give me a crippler crossface me any time

He just said to her 'your nipples are hard' whilst getting poked with them

The brother REALLY wants to knob her... though I can't blame him.

we know why she's so tough now - it was fighting off all the potential rapings

Anyone who's paid attention to the local papers around here the last few years knows this family is f**king weird. The daughter is worth slinging one up though.

It's the Norfolk version of a famous musical....

One Bride for Seven Brothers.

Zak has been arrested more times than I've had hot dinners, mainly because he likes to drink a lot and either drive or start real fights. I presume this is coming across in the show tbh.

Psssh.. Football fans.

Being a Wrestling Fan and having met Britani and Saraya as well as working in the film industry.... I found this documentary really good. I watched it with a non wrestling fan who loved it just as much as I did. It had everything a documentary needs, good characters, a pivotal story, touching moments and funny moments.

The family are obviously very close and in just 45 minutes you kind of felt you were welcomed in as part of the family as a viewer.

I think it was a great touch to see Britani on tv on FCW with the family watching, it have me slight chills and was a true feel good story, the young girl coming from a council house in Norwich to living the life in the bright lights of the USA and the fame that beckons at such a young age.

With the characters involved and hopefully good viewing figures there would definitely be a small series that would be worth doing.

On a side note I'm a bit gutted as I spoke to Britani last year about filming her for a documentary and she informed me she had just signed a contract with another film maker!! Damn!

Thought it was a really good documentary, was expecting some big fay gypsy style programme that would lead to a lot of ridicule but felt they showed an unbiased look and everyone came across generally quite well.

If a series was to be made then it could bring Brit Wrestling some much needed mainstream attention again

I really enjoyed this program. Agree with many other comments that it really showed wrestling in a fair unbiased light and didn't set out to ridicule it.

I think the wrestling was simply more a backdrop to the point of the documentary, dealing with a close knit family splitting to different sides of the Atlantic.
