Moderators Chest Rockwell Posted December 16, 2015 Moderators Share Posted December 16, 2015 That Jack Evans one was amazing, I still remember it well. I even emailed the guy who made it to tell him because his name was on the advert.
The Clint
It would've been decent if WWE even acknowledged his passing on air this week. RIP Jim

Undefeated Steak
I still find myself humming that Marilyn Manson track from the Austin Aries video. I vaguely remember a NJPW promo purely down to the name 'Jun Akiyama' being mentioned on it.

CTXRussomark
Have they actually ripped Schiavone/Heenan soundbytes at 0:38?? That video doesn't tie into the press release at all.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted December 16, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) Have they actually ripped Schiavone/Heenan soundbytes at 0:38?? 100%. Its a total rip from a WCW show. I've heard that loads of times, but cant quite remember which show. Maybe the Goldberg/Hogan match. The Shane Douglas promotion looks like garbage, sadly. Its typical that with Shane Douglas involved, Shane Douglas has to be all over it. I think the majority of planet earth would rather see Mantar than Douglas these days. Merzbow
"See you at the finish line Vince!" Is that the line where he's waiting for you to serve him his Billy Bear sausage, Shane? The whole thing looked like trash. It's sad to see Paul London on something like that, I still think he's worth much more. Paid Members Maverick Posted December 16, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted December 16, 2015 The guy behind it sounds like the real deal but so much Shane Douglas has sent alarm bells ringing.

Its typical that with Shane Douglas involved, Shane Douglas has to be all over it. I think the majority of planet earth would rather see Mantar than Douglas these days. God he's terrible. XPW was awful and he managed to make it worse then kill it with his booking. That was nearly 15 years ago too. He's probably even more mental now, Actually I know he's mental because I remember footage from Botchamania a few years ago at that extreme reunion event he organised. The whole thing was a clusterfuck and he wrestled in a shirt due to his massive gut. The fans chanted "fuck you" and "just retire" (not even a please). He created the show and they still trashed him! On the positive side maybe a few people will get some money-mark pay days, but the poor footage implys he doesnt have Dixie money. And we know from TNA that even with a lot of money backing you, poor creative will kill you eventually. Also if you want people to take your investor seriously, maybe film him in his swanky corporate office? Not leaning against some tatty stairs in an empty student house. Two thumbs down. DraxSpago
I like the fact that Shane Douglas looks about the same age as Vince Paul London was better off in that comedy thing he did with the fit redhead Edited December 16, 2015 by DraxSpago
Paid Members Tommy! Posted December 16, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted December 16, 2015 (edited) Share looks better than he did a few years ago. He's more old Share Douglas, which is justifiable as an old Shane Douglas, and less like a fat Norman Hale or fat old Onslow, which aren't justifiable as a franchise, unless its a KFC franchise doing an oap special. Dirty Eddie
I'm happy to see The Franchise throwing down the gauntlet again to Vince. It's about time we had another damn revolution and Douglas is always the man for the job. I look forward to him crashing WWE TV again and starting chants that everyone can join in with. I understand he was gonna show up in the crowd on NXT tonight, but security wouldn't let him in with his non-WWE licenced mask or his "See you at the finish line, Motherfucker" T-Shirt. Next week perhaps. Edited December 17, 2015 by Dirty Eddie
