ClassicsGuy
Craig Jenkins @Jenxman 1m It's been an honor & a privilege for 6 years knowing all of you. Good night & God Bless. Thanks for the memories!!! He's the TNA employee that ruins every TNA meet & greet by being rude and hurrying everyone along the line. From his tweet he's either quitting Twitter or leaving TNA. Callum1993
From WNW: "Sgt. Slaughter revealed in an interview with Arda Ocal at the Cauliflower Alley Reunion in Las Vegas, Nevada that he was in the original plans to manage Jack Swagger. Slaughter said plans were changed when Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara were lost to injury and Alberto Del Rio was turned babyface. This resulted in the creation of the Zeb Colter character to push the duo as antagonists. Slaughter said the original storyline was for him to
Moderators PowerButchi Posted April 17, 2013 Moderators Share Posted April 17, 2013 I don't believe him. He's like Carolina's version of Mike Graham when it comes to telling stories.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted April 17, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 17, 2013 (edited) They'd never turn Slaughter heel. He's WWEs version of World Cup Willy. They just send him out to places to get a nostalgia pop and drag his old arse back to the golf course. If you bring back someone as out of the blue as Dutch Mantel, its because you've found a role he'd be perfect for. They needed an old racist with a beard so they called Dutch. Slaughter has been under contract for years and they've never done anything with him. So why now? Also, Dutch writes all his own promos. So he had enough leverage to negotiate on his demands. They wanted Dutch to talk, so they brought him in. Imagine letting Slaughter go off for 5 minutes on Raw? Christ. Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted April 17, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 17, 2013 What's Mantel's YouShoot (or whatever type of interview it was) like? Saw a clip of it on YouTube this afternoon and it looked quite funny.

Callum1993
Doesn't Slaughter's statement suggest he'd be face managing a face Swagger? Mantel's shoot is a "Guest Booker" discussing his time in Puerto Rico and getting to TNA. It's pretty good but there's very little about WWE. Big Rob
Didn't they turn Slaughter heel for the night in Canada, basically trolling the crowd? Obviously just a one night thing, but I seem to remember it being fun. The Dutchman is a way better choice for a mouthpiece, mind you.
Professor Paul's Bin
I can't think of a worse combination then between Swagger and Slaughter. It wouldn't have gone down well if this happened. Slaughter is one of those legends now who has been over-used and exposed in recent years. Everytime Slaughter is involved in the current product I just cringe. There is no point of him putting the younger talent over in what is typically a stinker and doesn't get over. The bloke had his run, had some good moments but it'd be nice for him to never wrestle or be involved in an angle again, ever. Daaaaaad!
Doesn't Slaughter's statement suggest he'd be face managing a face Swagger? Yeah, this is definitely what I got off it. I think he was probably lined up to do the obvious thing and challenge Cesaro for the US title as an All-American American, but then Rey and Sin Cara got injured. So they made Del Rio a face Mexican and needed an enemy for him. Who's kicking about that's not getting used and is identifiably American? CHECK ONE TWO. AH YEAH. This probably also is what caused them to change their (likely) original plan for Ryback/Big Show.
Snitsky's back acne
Apparently Jerry Lawler's son, Brian Christopher is in trouble again. Vamp
LA Park is apparently working for Santo's TXT, mostly building up for a match that'll never happen. The big thing with this is AAA doesn't let guys work with Santo but Park's contract is different from the usual AAA contract so in theory he probably can work there. They won't like it though. Park's the man, I'd be well gutted if he left AAA. I'm sure he's not leaving but still. Edited April 18, 2013 by Vamp
