ThePhenom
More detailed spoilers:Â iMPACT: Â Hogan has main eventers all around the world wanting to jump on his back and join in with the tsunami taking over wrestling. Thats a bit insensitive to use that phrase, don't you think?
Slapnut
Surely Spike TV will cut that tsunami line. It doesn't surprise me for TNA to come up with it, but I doubt Spike would keep it in.
ThePhenom
Hulk just announced on Facebook/Twitter that the Tsunami line wasn't cool, and won't air.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted March 15, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted March 15, 2011 You cant fault them for having a go. Even the best television shows didn't think of exploiting Tsunami disasters and wheelchair bound folk straight after a drug addict ruined your PPV. At least they are looking at improving the companies image by slagging off the real worlds problems. Â Seriously though, this Jeff Hardy thing is a new low for TNA. Not the Tsunami quote, cause thats just idiotic and can be edited. But the whole show looks rotten. They've had a good few weeks recently, and Sting's return has been a revelation compared to what everyone imagined it was going to be. But Gunnar winning the TV title? And Bully Ray taking Jeff Hardy's place as the main heel on the show? And the Pope being as shit as he normally is? And they are back in the Impact Zone, so thats never good. Such a shame. Â Anyway, what does everyone think of the new belt?
Paid Members Your Fight Site Posted March 15, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted March 15, 2011 Looks like a new Sting shirt's on the way out too.
BitCrusherr
The new belt is avast improvement on the Hardy belt. Still prefer the older one though, but this one might grow on me.
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted March 15, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted March 15, 2011 I think the belt looks amazing, best yet. Although Sting and his super coat may be the thing that is making things look favourable. Â TNA needs some freshness though. The iMPACT Zone and the likes of RVD/Anderson make it a struggle, at times.
ScotstounsOwn
why did they put hardy on the ppv? waste of money
pgi86
TNA needs some freshness though. The iMPACT Zone and the likes of RVD/Anderson make it a struggle, at times. Speaking of, Hogan said this over on Twitter when a fan asked him about more shows on the road: Â "We're really trying, brother. Putting the numbers and the deal together as we speak." Paid Members gmoney Posted March 15, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted March 15, 2011 New belt's alright I suppose, but I'll say it again, Sting's ring jacket is ace
Paid Members Carbomb Posted March 15, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted March 15, 2011 Not exactly blown away by the new belt, but it is pretty good, and I think it's better than the old one. I always liked the Hardy belt, but I think they ruined its value as a wrestler-specific belt by having him lose it so soon to Anderson, then get it back only to lose it to Sting so soon again. Hardly a Smoking Skull.
Mr.Showtime
I've never been a huge Sting fan but he looks good in the current get-up. I didn't think it was right to take the belt off Anderson when they did but at least now it's away from Hardy and onto someone with their head screwed on.
