Part 2 comes out next March from what I understand  I thought it was out at Christmas for some reason, anyway, enjoy it, it might be the best Batman film ever. Paid Members Dead Mike Posted October 19, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2012 Read that Justice League news this morning & can't help but think it'll suffer from having to shoe-horn in too many in characters there they're yet to establish. The Avengers had the benefit of only really having to introduce Hawkeye as the groundwork was already done but that still clocked in at about 2hrs 30. KingOfMetal
I've not seen The Avengers movie yet, but didnt they introduce Hawkeye in Thor and Captain America?
Paid Members Dead Mike Posted October 19, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2012 He had a cameo in Thor but I wouldn't class it as 'established'. Didn't notice him in Capt America but I was only half watching that film anyway.
KingOfMetal
I wouldnt say they established him in Thor either, but it was definitely and introduction of the character (which was the whole purpose of the Thor anyway, to introduce him and Loki before doing the Avengers movie), and a quick check of Jeremy Renner's IMDB profile doesnt show Captain America, so i must have imagined that one
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted October 19, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 is fucking great. I loved it and can't wait for part 2. Â Personally I think the Batman movie rankings now goes like this: Â 1. Batman: Mask Of The Phatasm 2. The Dark Knight Returns - Part 1 3. The Dark Knight 4. The Dark Knight Rises 5. Batman Begins 6. Batman Beyond: Return Of The Joker 7. Batman (Burton) 8. Batman (60's version) 9. Batman Returns 10. Batman Forever Edited October 19, 2012 by LaGoosh
Paid Members MichaelScarn Posted October 19, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) Have got The Dark Knight Returns - Part 1 to watch, but I'm currently making my way through Season 2 of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes and want to see to the end of that first. Â It's a brilliant little series, can't see why Series 1 is being shown at 7:00am Saturdays on CITV, I think there is a wider audience for it, of an older age group, at a different time. Harvey Dent
Earths Mightiest Heroes is a cracking show. I love the ultra cheese theme song.

KingOfMetal
I cant believe Batman Begins is above Burton's Batman. Begins bored the shit out of me both times I tried it
Paid Members LaGoosh Posted October 19, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted October 19, 2012 Well it's only my personal list. I think Burton's Batman is a pile of shite. Each to their own. Â You're right Foale, I should have put Batman & Robin at number 10 and Batman Forever at 11.

The Natural
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is great. The second best cartoon ever done by Marvel, The Spectacular Spider-Man is the best. The Spectacular Spider-Man is superb.
