Paid Members LaGoosh Posted January 16, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Anybody here watch Adventure Time? It's basically the most loveable imaginative sweetest yet hilarious kids show I've ever seen. The kids who grow up watching it are probably going to be awesome people. Paid Members Nexus Posted January 16, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Yes. I've only watched up to Season 3 I think, but it's great. My favourites are Marceline, the Ice King and Gunter. One of the best kids TV shows in recent memory Edited January 16, 2013 by Nexus
Magnum
The only kids' show I've watched since Cavegirl (which wasn't a kids' show at all, let's be honest) is Bear Behaving Badly - I don't even know if it's still going now. I'm a massive fan of the hilarious stammering caretaker/antagonist and his hapless plots to get rid of that b-b-b-bear.
Richie Freebird
Did anyone see that program last night that had the bloke who used to play Martin on Coronation Street doing a bit of a show about
Paid Members cdm316 Posted January 18, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 18, 2013 Enjoying Elementary at the moment. Up to episode 11 and I'm planning on watching number 12 over the weekend. This has replaced Bones for me as that has passed its sell by date.
King Pitcos
Did anybody watch Utopia? Any good? Â Anyone? I saw a trailer for it on Facebook the day it was on, but it didn't look good enough to bother with. A handsome review would persuade me to have a look though. I could've Googled one instead of typing this.
DeanoTheGame
It was okay. It's definitely gonna disappear up its own arse, but I enjoyed the first episode.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 18, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 18, 2013 after watching two seasons of Ice Road Truckers i got hold of Everest - Beyond The Limit (DVD shopping in The Works), trememndous show. I have no interest in mountaneering but this show has opened my eyes to it. It's all about a team of climbers trying to reach the top of Everest as part of an expedition. Like all these shows it's perfect for newbies because it teaches you all the basics and gives background on the subject your watching and adds the drama of the climbers taking on the challenge (climbing Everest can be brutal). If you like shit like this i highly recommend it.
Magnum
I'm really enjoying the new (whisper it) ITV sitcom Great Night Out, starring Jez Quigley from Corrie and the bearded cop killer from Good Cop. As you'd expect from an ITV sitcom, it's not exactly reinventing the wheel, but, unexpectedly for an ITV sitcom, it's actually funny. Two episodes in and it's definitely my favourite new British comedy to appear in the last year or so.
King Pitcos
Might check it out. The adverts (and in particular, the running of them what seemed like three times in every ad break) really put me off. But I do like several of the cast. Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted January 18, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) I'm enjoying Great Night Out so far. Look out for Darren Burridge making an appearance as an extra in this week's episode! Edited January 18, 2013 by Arch Stanton
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted January 19, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) Great Night Out is really funny. Just a fun comedy where you know pretty much know what's about to happen, but enjoy it anyway. Likable cast as well. Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted January 19, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 19, 2013 The fact that it's ITV put me off. I will watch it at work based on these recommendations.

Paid Members garynysmon Posted January 19, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted January 19, 2013 Gone back to watching my Trailer Park Boys DVD's after a few years. Â Still hilarious but wasn't the same after Corey and Trevor left in season 7, probably went a series too long tbh.
