They've apparently sold under 5k tickets in a 16k arena. 

I feel sorry for the women competing on this who will probably get the blame if there's no late surge and the attendance is bad. Much like the first Evolution show, which also wasn't a financial success apparently, this show hasn't been made because WWE care about or want to celebrate womens wrestling.  

The first one was to try and hide the bad PR of the Saudi shows and this one is them counter programming AEW. Just trying to flood the weekend with pure quantity in the hopes they can steal some of the attention from ALL IN. 

The build up has been half arsed and shitty because they don't really care. Both World title matches have the build up of the champion just choosing who they want to face which is just so shite and lazy.

Beyonce is playing down the road on the same night, which can't be helping matters. Still a shite build and stupid scheduling though.

There'll only be more of this when they are so hell bent on counter programming AEW. Forget any build ups, just stick a show on to try and stop people talking about the competition.

If memory serves there was a poor build to the last one too, with the only real focus on Becky/Charlotte, Rousey/Bella and the Mae Young Classic final

What I find disappointing this time round is that, unless a match gets announced for her on Friday, Giulia will likely be in the battle royal rather than defending the Women’s US title and likewise Sol Ruca defending the Women’s North American Championship at the Bash on Saturday rather than the PLE. Would have been nice having all 7 of the company’s Women’s titles defended on the one show

For such a stacked women’s roster, they’ve really added this one up. If nothing else, it’s once again suggested that they don’t view their female wrestlers at the same level as the men. I had high hopes for women’s wrestling during the Triple H era; but even when his booking was at its strongest, this was a weak point. It’s particularly disappointing to see that he doesn’t trust the women’s roster enough to be the main focus of Raw and Smackdown during the build for an all-female show.

7 title matches would leave room for just those, plus maybe one more match. I think it would feel worse than what we've got - title matches for the sake of it. Plus a need to have one or two title changes for the sake of it.

I find it mad how you can watch NXT and see how strong of a focus they put on womens wrestling (some weeks the men barely feature) then here you have a big showcase and the company have bult it up so lazily (and so obviously just doing it to spite aew).

 

Roxanne, Guila should have marque matchess on this show to show off their potential, instead they are buried in multiperson matches. Just imagine being a fan who only watches raw and seeing how they use Roxanne currently, you will be questioning why all the fuss?

I get the hunch Naomi cashes in on someone, feels like both women champs have had their belts for a while. And hopefully this is the end of the god awful Jade/Naomi program.

Will they do camoes in Battle Royale? With next years rumble in saudi i cant imagine many legends making that trip so this may be the only time to do it for a while.

I have a feeling Jade beats her to “end the rivalry” but it’s a red herring and she cashes in at SummerSlam.
