I get irrationally annoyed everytime I see the words 'Interim ROH Womens World TV Champion'. What's the fucking point?!

I'm a bit disappointed OC is returning in what looks to be a throwaway tag match, would've much preferred him coming back to help Darby as part of the AEW Original Mega-Powers against the Death Riders. Hopefully they've got a decent plan for him going forwards.

Short of a rematch with MJF or Kyle Fletcher - both of which feel too soon - or with Moxley, which I don't think should happen at all, I can't think of anyone either. If it's a "lesser" challenger, it might be worth at least teasing MJF cashing in again just to have some intrigue attached.

I still think eventually they get to Hangman & Omega teaming back up, first against the Don Callis Family, and then against the Young Bucks. The latter could be a PPV match, though I don't think the Callis Family match would be. Whether they get there in the few weeks it takes to get to Wrestledream, I don't know.

Just looking through the roster page, there's nobody that feels in the right position, unless they do another champion vs. champion gimmick and have him against either Okada or Takeshita (who I believe will be IWGP Champion by Wrestledream). At a push, Ricochet could step up, but I don't see it. Maybe a multi-man against a bunch of people who don't feel quite like challengers in their own right yet, but that feels like adding more people would be subtractive rather than additive.

Otherwise, Orange Cassidy is back on Wednesday. Have The Conglomeration beat The Don Callis Family, other members of the Family beat them down, Hangman make the save, and help OC clear the ring. In the weeks to come, have Hangman give Cassidy big fired up pep talks about how if he's the heart of the company and if he put his mind to it he could be champion and he wants him to find that in himself. Do a big babyface match between the two, with MJF hovering around it threatening to cash in. I don't know what else they could do.

The sooner Swerve is back and they can reignite their feud the better. A babyface vs babyface version would be interesting. Hangman trying not to go back to his old ways or something.

Like the idea of OC vs Hangman to be honest, be a belting match.

MJF needs to give a weeks notice for his title match though so that takes the intrigue out of that bit.

They did Hangman vs Orange Cassidy on the first Dynamite of this year and it was a dud, weirdly enough. But I'd be happy to see them revisit it as it just seemed like a rare off night for both men at the time.

It'd be creative, as a one time thing but, could you do Hangman vs. Okada for both belts, have Hangman win and then relinquish the title for the C2? Okada would then have to enter the C2 to get his belt back.

I have no idea who Hangman's next challenger could be. I'm drawing a complete blank.

I’d quite like to see him wrestle one of The Bucks. They’ve never had a singles title match in AEW before, despite being two of the biggest names in the company and it would be something different, perhaps even building up to an Omega return.

Outside of that, Ricochet seems like a good option; I’d have to assume that match’ll happen at some point.

Bit of a random one, but for a holding pattern until Swerve returns but what about someone like Christian or Edge? Christian would probably be more suited to it with his history and that, but just thinking of a short little run against Hangman might be all right? I think maybe one of the 'older heads' might be the best option whilst they manoeuvre others into position. Keeps the interest there and let's everything else get cleared away for a new challenger coming in

Okada is, presumably, going to be kept busy with Takeshita. You could tie that into a Hangman programme, but I wouldn't have both belts on the line, and then you have the problem of Hangman beating your other singles champions.

Takeshita will be challenging for the IWGP Title in NJPW not long before Wrestledream, and I assume he's going to win it, and the plan is Okada/Takeshita with both belts on the line.

Ricochet I think could easily be heated up as a challenger of the month, though I'm not sure it's a PPV headliner, there would need to be something else on the card - maybe a big Death Riders schmozz against assorted babyfaces again, as much as I'd rather we had reached the end of that. I think it's more likely The Demand head towards Trios Titles, but a detour into Ricochet challenging for the World Title before that wouldn't be the worst idea.

Christian and Copeland aren't going to be anywhere near the World Title, and I don't want them to be. Copeland has been a dud in main event matches, and is much better positioned in tag matches that hide his limitations, and Christian shouldn't be doing much in the way of face vs. face matches when he's still basically doing his heel schtick as a babyface. They're also still tied up with FTR, and I imagine from whenever that story is over the question will be whether they should stick together as a tag team now that Christian has paid back his favour to Cope, and I expect the thing that keeps them together will be a Tag Title shot. I assume they eventually get to Cope & Cage vs. The Young Bucks, whether that's the tag title match or a separate thing, I don't know, but I wouldn't have C&C anywhere near the World Title while they've still got plenty more going on.

Weirdly, having said that, just as an interesting concept I wouldn't be averse to a Hangman/Young Bucks triple threat. The downside is that I don't think anyone's buying either Buck as a singles champion, but it could be a good match, and they could use the current situation of Nick pissing away all of their money as just enough impetus to make them both go for the big money of the World Title, and with enough dissension between them to make you think they might not work together the whole time. Feels like a TV special main event more than a PPV, though, and I very much doubt they'd ever do it.

Chances are that they just do something completely out of left-field that none of us are expecting on Dynamite anyway - nobody saw Kyle Fletcher as Hangman's first challenger, surely?

Omg I'm a bit tipsy, granted, but now's the time to pull the trigger on something like this... Hangman Adam Page v Timeless Toni Storm! ?

Well you're definitely having a better Wednesday afternoon than I am.
