Hmmmm, not quite happy with that. A couple there I should've taken a bit more time to chew over.

Hosting a Christmas quiz on Monday at work and thought some of you might want to take on the general knowledge round. If you think some of these are way too easy then please understand this is for about 30ish people so the level is hard to get right :)

I've also done a round on Christmas nunber ones, where 10 seconds of songs will be played. There have been some very random Christmas number ones in my opinion.

Remember the Rotary Club Santa sleigh thing that came down my road?

Went out with 10yo today and had to pop into Sainsburys and they were parked up outside.

Guess which song they were playing over their loudspeaker as I turned the corner.

Not this year motherfuckers!

As soon as I heard that thumping bass of the loudspeaker with Wizzard blasting, I popped my headphones on. Your Whamageddon busting days are over local Rotary Club!

I did go and chuck a couple of quid in the bucket. Let bygones be bygones.

Finished work now and was very much hoping to not have to go out now until Christmas day and eat and watch films, but I have to go to bloody FAREHAM tomorrow (my most hated town around where I live) for one present I've forgotten to get ffs.

Edit: almost forgot, lost Whamageddon on Saturday at the Spurs stadium. Another reason to hate going. Bastards.

When did the Grinch fully integrate itself into UK Christmas culture? I don't remember knowing what the fuck it was until at least my teenage years in the late 90s. Cunt's everywhere now, and a bloke who lives across the road from my parents has painted his van green and apparently goes around the village dressed as the Grinch to the delight of the children (hopefully not a nonce).

Been off work since Weds the 17th, been watching a plethora of movies and old school wrestling, spending time with the kids, gym and look forward to some outrageous eating & drinking in the coming days.

I remember watching original cartoon on over here when I was about 10, but yeah it’s everywhere now.

We ordered our turkey a few months ago from a local butcher who have been good before but hasn’t heard from them. Gave them a call and said they were hacked a couple months back by an ex employee so they have about 200 orders they didn’t know about.

Said they had some, but we’ll need to pay again. Wife’s gone on an emergency trip to Sainsbury’s.
