There's been plenty of criticism of Farage in The Times for a while now, I don't tend to read the editorials but they've been backing Badenoch pretty much since she got in

They criticise Reform to the point that they've been dubbed a "lefty rag" by the party and their supporters. I don't think the Telegraph are much kinder, and when you're calling the Times and the Telegraph lefty rags there's not a whole lot further right to go. The Mail and Express, I guess. Even then I have a feeling they'd be inclined to try and distance themselves. Farage is even appearing on TalkTV instead of GBNews at the moment.

At times its like watching a cartoon. The characters that populate that political group are bizarre. Unfortunately its not in the slightest bit funny. When we can see the reality of their influence. Aside from the headline grabbers is there any competence in that organisation of failed Tories? I realise that they are adept at pandering to a certain element of the British public. Despite the copious evidence of incompetence when given control of councils. Their base seems oddly blind to that.

I try to avoid political discussions at work. However I am hearing talk in the office of support for Reform. From people that I wouldn't expect to to be that gullible. The middle ground seems to be a very narrow area currently.

Some serious deja vu seeing them wheel out  Dorries, Jenrick and Anderson for car crash attempts at damage control over the past few days.  It's hard to miss the parallels with the Tories when it's the exact same crew trying to make excuses.  Hopefully that resonates with some of the more borderline supporters who have only really turned to Reform to get away from the Tories. 

Farage's interview saying his family no longer support him being a politician also feels like him planting a seed for being able to jack it in if things get much worse.  I'm sure he'll quite happily walk off into a bunch of highly paid TV and media jobs, working a martyr gimmick due to "the establishment" and loony lefties forcing him out of parliament.

Yeah, here's hoping the level of scrutiny proves to be just to much for him because he is at his core a very lazy man. He loves the power and attention, but you get the feeling he doesn't have the energy to fully embrace a lifestyle of pure adversarial chaos like Trump. 

Goes without saying that the wheels totally come off Reform without him there.

What was that nonsense in Dover about? Around 100 masked men marching around Dover trying to intimidate people. Police shepherding them about.

Some similar antics in Portsmouth on Sunday. Around 500 people attempted to intercept a small boat. The activists appear to have been guided by failed Tories Braverman,Jenrick, and local councillors. Tommy Robinson's right hand man helped organise the interception.
