Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted January 14 Paid Members Posted January 14 (edited) Never mind. It was just him announcing Israel Adesanya vs Joe Pyfer and Azamat Murzakanov vs Paulo Costa. Perfectly OK fights but was doing the big buildup and pre-announcing that there’d be an announcement on Instagram live necessary for those fights? As always, saw people getting carried away going ‘It’s gotta be the White House main event! Aspinall vs Jones!’ etc etc. These announcements went down like a wet fart. Doesn’t help that there’s always about a 50% chance Costa pulls out of any fight he’s booked in either. 3 hours ago, Kfogg1991 said: Uncle Dana He’s no uncle of mine. Kfogg1991 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Yeah I saw that everyone expecting white house fights not happening yet he said on Stephen Smith's podcast he's working that out after 324 is over which is understandable. Yeah pointless announcement however Izzy hasn't won a fight in three years how mind-blowing is that Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted January 17 Paid Members Posted January 17 This got announced as headlining the Apex in March… I really like this fight. Nice step up for Vallejos coming off the Chikadze win in December but also a bit of a ‘must win’ for Emmett. He’s mixed with some of the best in the division for years now but he’s gone 1-4 in his last five, he’s coming off a couple of losses on the trot here and just got steamrolled in 90 seconds or something by Youssef Zalal last time out. He turns 41 a week or so before this fight and I think it’s obvious that the matchmakers are trying to put him out to pasture with this booking. We’ll see though. Also saw that Rob Font vs Raul Rosas Jr has been added to the 326 card and Chito Vera vs David Martinez has been added to the Mexico card. I like all these bookings and they’re all nice opportunities and solid tests for the new blood against the old guard in March. Quote

The pressers will be wild, the fight could be anything. Promoted by Kalle Sauerland, so a good weekend for the Coke dealers as well. Edited January 22 by Lion_of_the_Midlands Don Curry Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted January 23 Author Paid Members Posted January 23 Quite like the fight for the pair of them. If Wilder starches Chisora it'll set-up the Usyk/Wilder fight nicely. That's not going to be popular but it seems to be the only fight Usyk wants. Quote

Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted January 28 Paid Members Posted January 28 Every time Fury comes out of retirement I give a little bit less of a fuck than the last time. If the phrase ‘diminishing returns’ was a boxer it’d be him. Quote
NeverYield Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Clever ploy picking Makmudhov as well, to the casual he looks a big nasty dangerous lump. But to those in the know if Fury turns up fit and ready he should piece him up with ease. Quote

Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted February 1 Paid Members Posted February 1 (edited) No UFC 325 spoilers here but this popped up on the screen last night. Current lineup for the 326 main card. TBD vs TBD co-main? What do you think this could be? We’re only five weeks away… There was supposed to be a Moicano vs Ortega rematch on there but Ortega’s dropped out. There’s been reports that Esteban Ribovics has accepted the fight and will step in. I’d love to see that, I’ve been moaning about him being stuck in the Apex forever. He’s way too exciting a fighter for that. He deserves to be in front of crowds. But I don’t think that’ll be the co-main here. Even when Moicano vs Ortega 2 was on there it wasn’t co-main, Borralho vs De Ridder was in that spot. So it seems like this will be a completely new fight. Might be wishful thinking but my money’s on a Joshua Van vs Manel Kape title fight getting added. They’ve been going back and forth on Twitter for weeks now and Van specifically mentioned ‘Mar 7’ which is the 326 date… I’m in. Would be a great addition to 326 and the card kind of needs a solid co-main. Only problem is from Van’s tweets he’s insinuating that Kape’s being difficult and doesn’t really want the fight. Fuck knows? I can definitely see it being a Van title defence as the new co-main though. He’s always liked a quick turnaround and that Pantoja fight last time was so short he barely got to fight at all. Whether he fights Kape, Taira or whoever, I’m up for it. Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted February 2 Paid Members Posted February 2 UFC London card for March has been revealed… Some good fights on there but the bout order seems all to cock to me. Jones vs Sola and Wood vs Keita being on the prelims is mad to me. Probably the best fights on the entire card outside the main event. Evloev vs Murphy is an interesting one. Winner has to be next for Volk right? You’d think. But I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this is the matchmakers making sure they’re tied up so they can justify giving the title shot to someone else. I think the winner of this will be next in line. But it wouldn’t shock me if we get Volk vs Jean Silva or something either. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 2 Paid Members Posted February 2 Wonder why Shem Rock and MVP don't have flags next to their names. I don't fancy Murphy's chances, but he has to win this if he wants to make himself undeniable. Likewise for Evloev. It's clear the matchmakers don't like either of them very much. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted February 4 Author Paid Members Posted February 4 Crikey, Lone'er Kavanagh thrown in the deep end. Fair play, love this fight. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted February 4 Paid Members Posted February 4 I'd venture to guess he wants to get that first-ever loss, which has not aged well with Charles Johnson losing the weekend just gone, far in the rear-view mirror. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted February 4 Author Paid Members Posted February 4 Well, its abit of a no lose situation. If he beats Moreno, he's bang in the mix. Quote
