Paid Members FLips Posted October 1, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 1, 2025 Mine was still £14.99 next renewal, I must have done the upgrade trick at some point too but even at £14.99 I was feeling less and less like I was getting my money’s worth and it’s more the principle of the thing. Word on the street is it’s to help fund their AI department among other things. Get fucked. Quote
Paid Members Weezenal Posted October 2, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 2, 2025 The fact I've only been playing Tony Hawk and Minecraft on it for months means I should just buy those games and cancel Gamepass now. Thought I had a bit longer but got until March with it. Quote
The King Of Swing Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Picked a good time to start rebuilding my PS2 collection. Long regretted selling off my games. Quote
Merzbow Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Rumble Roses XX.. there's an actual good game buried in here, the slow paced but still arcadey wrestling is fun as hell but there's just no content as they stripped (the women, hey hey?) away any kind of story mode. I'd start to excuse the horrible misogyny if there was some bat shit career you could go through like in the PS2 version, this is just all the same roster doing nothing new. Imagine a 2006 TNA roster with this engine? It's better than Impact. Quote
Mr_Danger Posted October 2, 2025 Posted October 2, 2025 Finished Tears of the Kingdom. It’s a great game and improves on Breath of the Wild but it just lacks that magic you get with BOTW which to be fair is almost impossible to recreate with a direct sequel. I had a great time with it and put well over 100 hours in to it but you don’t have the grind of navigating up a mountain and discovering something new. You just fire up in to the sky and get most places you want. That’s on me as I should have just stayed grounded and traversed on foot but they gave me the easier option and I took it. The closest thing I have to a gripe with it is that I hate labyrinthine subterranean levels almost as much as I do underwater levels so the fact they have a huge part of the map that is a subterranean labyrinth set in darkness did very little for me. It’s mostly bonus content though tbf. The game is super easy too but there seemed to be a pretty steep incline in difficulty with the final boss. Fancy trying San Andreas next, anyone know of it plays better on Switch 2? Quote
Paid Members Weezenal Posted October 2, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 2, 2025 (edited) They have Gamepass for 3 months for £33.35 that can stack if anyone does want to give Microsoft more money but save before it goes up. I'm weak and stacked up for a year... https://www.shopto.net/en/dwnld53139-xbox-game-pass-ultimate-3-month-subscription-p179228/?affiliate_source=aw&sv1=affiliate&sv_campaign_id=47868&awc=2943_1759439366_60d49c7e7fa240b405b354163191d1b4 Edited October 2, 2025 by Weezenal Quote
The King Of Swing Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 To be honest I've barely used Gamepass in ages. Think the last game I completed off there was Persona 3 Reload, and I recently bought that on PlayStation. Recent price hike was the push I needed to finally cancel. My back catalogue is big enough as it is. Quote

Imagine a 2006 TNA roster with this engine? It's better than Impact. I hear it's underrated. Made by Yuke's isn't it? The ones who did the earlier Smackdown games. I picked up Terror Of Hemasaurus on Switch the other day. It's obviously inspired by Rampage, but there's some kind of weird story about the environment and politics going on as well. You wander from left to right through a city, climbing up buildings and destroying them, eating humans to replenish your health and build your energy for your super attack. There are targets on each level, such as destroy a certain percentage of the buildings or eat so many civilians, but also the occasional bonus stage that will act as a tutorial for how to use the next skill you've learned. You can kick things on the ground like humans, vehicles etc and direct them. Taking down a helicopter by doing keepy-ups with a van is quite fun. There's not a whole lot of thought involved, but the story is dumb fun, and it's cool to just blast through a level or have a crack at endless mode. You can pick a few different characters as well. The titular Hemasaurus, a Godzilla parody. Autonomous Hemasaurus, a mecha Godzilla parody, Clocksloth, a giant monster sloth, Salamandrah, a giant Salamander and finally Paingo, an unlock able character that I presume is going to be a giant penguin. It's on sale at the moment as well. Edited October 4, 2025 by Jazzy G Quote
Paid Members RedTwoster Posted October 7, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 7, 2025 Ghost of Yotei is…OK. There’s something that feels very ‘been there, done that’ about it and I don’t mean in a gameplay sense. It’s another story about revenge, and it just doesn’t feel distinct.I want to get into the story, but I’m really struggling. The gameplay is as fun as it was last time around, but I’m not feeling a drive to keep playing in the way I thought I might. Quote

And don’t get me wrong, when it comes to the game itself, I’m totally fine with that. Maybe I’ll get into the story as time goes on, but it feels a bit like they’ve taken a template and painted Atsu’s story around it. Quote
TildeGuy~! Posted October 7, 2025 Author Posted October 7, 2025 It’s been a while since I played Tsushima but I think I enjoyed Yotei’s story more, felt like Kill Bill from the get go with bits of Lady Snowblood thrown in. Quote
thevestofdeanambrose Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 How many hours did you put in to complete it? Did you do many of the side missions? I just started a couple of days ago. Am loving it so far. But I'm easy to please. Give me a good Japanese revenge story, I'm all in every time haha! On another note. I love survival horror games but couldn't get into Silent Hill F. No where near as close to a good game as Cronos. Will come back to it at some point and hopefully be more into it. Quote
TildeGuy~! Posted October 7, 2025 Author Posted October 7, 2025 I clocked in around 50 hours and that’s getting the platinum. Silent Hill F needs around 3 playthroughs to really appreciate the story and game as a whole, bit of a weird choice to structure it that way though. Quote
Version1.0 Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 Still playing Metaphor ReFantazio. It goes on forever Quote
