Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 7, 2024 Author Paid Members Posted September 7, 2024 Uncle Turki's new price plan for PPV's has kicked in too, DAZN is offering AJ/Dubois for £16.99 which is a pretty nice drop off. I know it's still going againsts DAZN initial pitch but PPV's were heading quickly towards £30 a show, nice ot see it come down a fair bit. Quote

The Saudi's don't need the money, they are buying the exposure. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted September 29, 2024 Paid Members Posted September 29, 2024 Hearn did an interview with IFL where he’s on about making all main events 9pm. Fucking long overdue this. Hopefully it gets done and becomes the norm going forward. The stuff on this is right at the start of this interview… Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 29, 2024 Author Paid Members Posted September 29, 2024 Yeah I saw him mention it in a seperate interview earlier in the week too, music to my ears. It's baffling they've waited this long to implement it, hopefully everyone else follows suit. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted October 9, 2024 Author Paid Members Posted October 9, 2024 I'll have some of this for Christmas! Quote

Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted October 9, 2024 Paid Members Posted October 9, 2024 That undercard is shite. Turki can't be out of cash already surely. Quote
NeverYield Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 McCann-McGrail is the only fight I'm sorted of interested in on that undercard. Quote
Members SuperBacon Posted October 18, 2024 Members Posted October 18, 2024 What a lovely gesture. Quote
Paid Members Lion_of_the_Midlands Posted November 3, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 3, 2024 (edited) Queensbury going to DAZN from April 2025. We are in strange times now chaps. Edited November 3, 2024 by Lion_of_the_Midlands It's just an app that no one watches. Quote
Gooner Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 There had been rumblings about this maybe happening over the past few months when Queensbury's contract coming up with TNT Sports, but had gone quiet recently, shame it's all confirmed now and is happening next year. Not good news, I don't want to get it again after having loads of problems cancelling it last time round. Quote
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted November 3, 2024 Paid Members Posted November 3, 2024 DAZN you say? Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 5, 2024 Author Paid Members Posted November 5, 2024 Probably explains the apparent price hike next year. Quote
d-d-d-dAz Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 If I was Boxxer, I'd be thrilled. Last remaining British promoter on a proper channel, with the 360 promotional opportunities it presents, plus all the big Saudi stuff will be on Sky PPV anyway. Boxxer need to find a way quickly to make Sky feel like they're value for money, and they could quickly be in a much better position than they were even a few weeks ago. Quote
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted November 9, 2024 Author Paid Members Posted November 9, 2024 DAZN have some decent Black Friday deals on at the moment, an annual upfront sub is £90, or lock in monthly for 10 bucks. Not bad considering Queensbury is heading over there next year. Bit of a no-brainer for me these days. Think offer ends at the end of the month. Quote
