The boss had gone home for the night after a long day in the studio and after he left the guy had put on an American accent. Probably too expensive to book another day in the booth so just went with it! The owner of Silver Vision owns the rights to the theme. What was the first day booked in for? Quote
watuworriedabout Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Pulling together the video edit. Took all day to time it all to the music etc. Quote

Merzbow Posted October 13 Posted October 13 I had that last one on only in the background as he's a bit of a boring sod and I can't actually pay attention, but I did hear him mention "contemporary talk" and he blatantly meant here. Quote

Surely the only time this place has been described as "contemporary". Quote

The Gaffer Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Contemporary is subjective. Pretty sure our own @Chico Torres considers the WWF's blue and yellow tile logo to be contemporary. Quote
Chico Torres Posted October 14 Posted October 14 I wholeheartedly reject and condemn the modern era which coincidentally began as soon as Todd Pettengill left the WWF. Quote

It was a studio in Soho near Golden Square. He probably did it in five minutes and instantly forgot about it. Has no idea it's iconic. Quote
Paid Members Jazzy G Posted Thursday at 09:42 AM Paid Members Posted Thursday at 09:42 AM I had one of that wrestling comedian bloke's videos on yesterday about those WWF tribute shows everyone used to do. I'm pretty sure he namechecked our very own @JNLister at one point. He's also sat in front of a green screen (or worse is using A1 to add in the background) designed to look like the pro wrestling equivalent of those rooms retro gaming Youtubers have with all the games and posters rather than just sitting in an actual room with posters up. He sits very still and has a really weird outline, which is why I think it's an A1 thing rather than actual green screen. Quote

After Effects/DaVinci Resolve (and, I suspect, a bunch of other editing software) now offers a 'Magic Mask', which is sort-of AI generated, but not in the way it might sound. I suspect he's done that - if you don't do it well, it can look weird in exactly the way it does. Quote
