The opening half an hour or so is completely superb though. Nice surprise to see Buzz McAllister pop up in a film again as well. Â I completely agree, I was totally engrossed until he shaved his beard off, I still enjoyed it after that but the beginning was really unique. I can't be arsed to watch it if it's the same but I'd check it out if I know there's something new. If it's different don't say what it is because I will probably watch it. Â I didn't read that post properly... Â Â It's slightly different and actually makes more sense in context to the rest of the film. Â Â The thing I liked about the remake was that they got rid of the hypnotism shit. That always bugged me about the original but I'd still rank it as one of my favourite films. It does stipulate in the opening credits that it is based on the Korean movie. Spike Lee's cut of the film runs 2hrs 20mins but the studio didn't want to release that and cut it down to just over 1hr 40mins. Â She was only ever an above average actress at her best, and I can't remember the last time there was a positive story about her in the news gossip pages. Her getting cast in anything these days must be based on the director hoping her car crash existence will bring the curious fuckers in. Â Yeah, what the fuck was that film about? Lohan was literally stumbling during some scenes. Hiring a gay porn actor as her boyfriend (and the film's main character) was well odd too. Such a punchable face as well. It's worth watching for the trainwreck it is. Tons of poorly filmed, and utterly bonkers, sex.
