So, are bankruptcy laws different as opposed to over here and how so? I've noticed some differences.

Chapter 11 means you get a temporary period during which creditors can't enforce their claims against you. To get it, you have to present a credible plan to the court to show you are reorganising your finances and have a viable plan to keep the business running.

We can probably safely rule out Chapter 11 then, right?

They're apparently due the next big chunk of their UK and Indian TV money in January, which might be enough to convince people to let it keep going a little longer.  Whether it's a big enough chunk remains to be seen (and it sounds like the Indian TV company would be within their rights to terminate the contract, given they were contractually promised an annual Indian tour that has never materialised...).

In any case, it will only be delaying the inevitable.

Plenty of nonsense, but the Slammiversary in Dallas PPV is discussed (which i mentioned a few weeks back). 5,000 legit ticket sales which is the 2nd best US show and yet "they" were pissed off because they didn't get good merchandise numbers ($15 per head)

Dum dum dum, another one files a suit:

Another TNA lawsuit has been revealed as BankDirect Capital Finance, LLC filed a lawsuit on September 29th in Cook County, Illinois asking for $207,612.29 plus legal fees, interest and late charges.

Back on November 30th, 2015, BankDirect entered into an agreement with TNA Entertainment, LLC, to pay TNA $400,146.00 so TNA could pay certain insurance premiums. TNA agreed to make 10 monthly payments of $41,032.45 with the first payment coming on November 13th, 2015. As of September 29th, TNA had paid almost half of the suit but was still $207,612.29 behind.
