Paid Members Tommy! Posted May 7, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 7, 2013 (edited) What happens after some one dies? Say for Perfect, would the money go to his estate and continue to be distributed in accordance with the initial distribution of his assets or would his claim to royalties terminate on his death? Â I remember an issue in music rights a few years back as singers got X number of years while Writers get life plus X number of years, so it was rolling round to Cliff Richard not getting paid for some of his older songs. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted May 7, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 7, 2013 (edited) Although the idea that WWE dont pay a pension, travel or health care yet dish out $171,000 for a Madusa vs Bull Nakano is a nice world to be in. Â The real story behind WWE is that they have someone with a stopwatch going through DVDs and calculating how much they HAVE to pay royalties. They wont pay you a penny over if they dont have to. And your level of residuals is determined on how big of a name you are. It goes by the PPV payoff system of importance. Some people are on merchandise deals where they make half of 1 percent of their merch earnings. Zack Ryder for example probably isn't rich off all the merch he sells. Paid Members Tommy! Posted May 7, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted May 7, 2013 Didn't Ventures commentary get edited out of some DVD's to avoid paying him royalties or have I made that up?

No you haven't made it up. For example, on Foleys hits n misses DVD, Jesses audio is edited from The Bulldogs match
