So the Rock has promised a surprise for John Cena and there is going to be an in-ring confrontation between HHH, HBK and The Undertaker. With 2 weeks left till Wrestlemania what else is going to happen?

HHH, HBK and Taker in-ring confrontation has potential to be super-boring. I don't know what more they can talk about.

It was spot on last year, mind. Like most, i don't think HBK needed to be added but i get why he has. I'm sure part of the idea with him being ref is to add more doubt to whether Undertakers streak will end, they'd done a great job of building that without it though, definitely. Still, in saying that i think Michaels part in it and involvement has been handled quite well, with the reasoning for him to have issue with either guy. Until last week, didn't dig that so much. But i expect that following tonight it won't seem so much like Shawns going all Team DX.

The Undertaker hair thing is a bit weird isn't it. It's become a totally throwaway thing, and appearing numerous times, keeping his bonce covered, i think a lot of the audience have forgotten the cutting the hair bit, what with bigger things happening since with Michaels being added. So i can see the reveal, if it happens at WrestleMania somewhat taking from the atmosphere of the match briefly as everyone's taken aback by whatever the hell his head now looks like.

ok am i the only one having problems with the sky hd feed? its jerky as hell. very hard to watch - this happened the other week and it ended up being just the recording but the live show was fine so i just rewound to the start - but the live feed is jerky too. normal sky sports 3 is fine, but the picture is too shit to watch.

seems the ads are jerky too - damn sky fucking up!

Opening segment wasn't great. I thought Punk did his best with his reactions to the stuff about his dad last week, but this week I thought he just looked and sounded like an idiot and it was mostly due to the material. Then Jericho's bit was even worse.

Big Show vs Kane is up there with the matches I want to see the least in 2012. Thankfully it was just a set up for Cody Rhodes to be awesome again. I was totally indifferent towards cody Rhodes before this feud but I am sold on him now. Cole and Lawler dropping into super serious voice because Big Show got punched a bit with boxing gloves was very stupid.

Santino vs Otunga was alright. Santino is still mega over and they're building the multi-man tag for mania well. Should be a lot of fun even though I'm still not into the GM feud. I just can't stand Teddy Long as a performer, though Otunga and Ace nearly make up fpr him.

Rock's promo was just too long. The photo of young Rock by the Rocky statue was a nice touch and he had one or two other good moments but it started to drag for me way before he finished.

Lord Tensai appears to be A-Train doing a Jinsei Shinzaki gimmick. I'd have liked them to call him Bullet Train and have him run to the ring really fast with a couple of Japanese salarymen on his back, but this will do I suppose.

Cena vs Henry was good stuff. Cena looked like a beast. I felt for Mark Henry getting attacked for no reason after losing a hard fought match. Not cool Rock.

There was a Divas thing.

There was also a Shane Douglas thing. How embarrassing.

Orton seems to be as uninspired by his mania match with Kane as everyone else. Don't blame him.

Tag match was decent. Again, the GM vs GM tag match had the best build on this show. I agree with the folks in chat who said that Ziggler needs to lose Vickie after Mania. Her and Swagger are just dead weight for him at this point.

I still don't like how much focus is being put on Shawn in the build for HHH/Taker. I thought using him for a week or two to convince HHH to take the match was great, but since then I don't think his involvement has been necessary and has mostly detracted from it. I thought HHH's promo was good, but Shawn standing off to the side looking awkward just exemplified the point that he didn't need to be there.

Bit of a flat and boring show this; the mania build seems to be losing steam as we get closer to the event. Fortunately I'm already sold on Rock/Cena and I'm sure HHH/Taker will deliver as well, but I do hope next week's show is a bit more exciting.

I disagree. I thought that was by far the best Jericho has looked since he came back. The little Shakespeare beard, the heartfelt apology and the promise before revealing himself to be a bigger weasel than before. Great stuff. Punk promo was solid too, probably a bit too long for the material he had.

I really enjoyed Raw. Thought The Rock was really good. If he'd managed to go 3 minutes without a shit testicles reference, it would've been brilliant. Funny that Randy Savage is now back in the fold. Thought Orton came across well. I love those type of promos. It works really well with the crowd in the background. Thought the ending was brilliantly done, even if the majority of the promo was a bit dull. Shawn's eyes are in different zip codes these days though.

The general manager squabbling is still working. Cole/Lawler are really shit during it though. Would rather it was silent. Miz trying to get on the team is a decent sub-plot. Them referencing King Kong Bundy syndrome on the air if cool too.

Cena killing Henry with the AA is a great statement and I quite liked the Rock Bottom afterwards. They've done well to drag this out this long and now they can go into overdrive next week.

Lord Tensai/Prince Albert looks cool. Hoping they can channel a bit of Umaga into this thing. I'd like him to come down with a new age Mr. Fuji (not Sonny Ono) and 30 Japanese porn stars.

The Big Show/Cody stuff was good but a cheap win didn't do Kane any favours. I hate finishes like that one. What was Big Show doing up on the ropes? Apart from setting up that finish of course. The other matches all did a job.

So yeah, nice show, everything moved along a bit. It's difficult for them though because the top few matches look so good on paper, they don't need any build. They are just about managing to avoid taking things down a notch.

I enjoyed the CM Punk/Chris Jericho stuff over everything else this week. I thought Punk was really natural on the mic, and I laughed when Jericho turned it around to be about his sister. I'm looking forward to the match now, which is more than I can say for the World Title match. Sheamus/The Miz felt like filler, and I would have liked to have seen Bryan get to talk face to face with his WM opponent. Instead we got him squashing Zack Ryder. Cena Vs Mark Henry was nothing special (but was watchable), but I'm just glad that he was OK after the car crash so I'll let him off. It did make Cena look strong as well. The Rock's promo was the same crap as every other week except last, it didn't even make sense. What was the point?

I thought the David Otunga/Santino pose off was a nice touch, and Johnny L's celebration and taunting to Long was brilliant. The Randy Orton interview on the stage was good, I hope they keep that format for interviews up. I'm also intrigued by (Albert?)'s video package. All in all there wasn't anything too bad except for The Rock's stuff, but I would have done some of it differently. Oh, and Shane Douglas is incredibly sad. Doesn't he work in Wal Mart?
