Eh??? I've ben in and out of this thread without the means to post, but Tugboat??

Tugboat was all kinds of awesome late 1990, a fat fuck with massive arms and legs! Less convincing as Typhoon, he wasn't evil enough to be a baddie, hence The Shockmaster failure.

Tugboat was my first favourite wrestler ever.

On topic, Del Rio these days bores me, but I assume that's his gimmick?

Back in the day, Dino Bravo was definitely the answer to this question....

See in saying that, i've been watching back old wrestlemanias and have had to watch some of his matches from the earlier numbers. I user to hate him with a passion, but now found love for him when the announced him as "Canadas strongest man".

Not really sure why, but for some reason, although i know that is an incredible thing to be a countrys strongest man, to be Canadas strongest man rather than "Worlds" or a country more linked to strong men, seems funny. In saying that he did change his name to the worlds strongest man at one point though.

I've never got on with kofi Kingston, I don't think he's anything special, never once seen him cut a decent promo, or a promo at all for that matter, I haven't seen a match of his that's stood out to me really.

Micke James used to piss me off every week. She just didn't seem to have the first clue about how to wrestle and never once showed any signs of improving. Most divas could at least throw your average shitty women's match together, but she would blow spots and just about fuck up every match she was in, yet seemed to think she was amazingly talented.

Always liked X-Pac. He was great in his 1-2-3 Kid days as a young babyface, had great matches in WCW as Syxxx and completely reinvented himself as a heel. He was also a big part of the "attitude era". Only bad thing about him is the fact that he ruined his possible "one last run"/legacy in WWE by starring in a porno with Chyna and trying to kill himself. X-Pac heat is just something invented by the "TV smarks", because they refused to acknowledge X-Pac was still over with the live audience i.m.o.

Just watch those Tagged Classic DVD's with Dolby Surround. X-Pac always gets huge reactions during every match he's in!

"Go away heat" in my case goes to:

- Sid Vicious in WCW - Who booked this robot!?

- Crimson - Who!?

- Mr. Anderson - No selling table bumps and chairshots.

- Jack Swagger - Walks, talks and looks like a moron.

I liked Alberto Del Rio from his debut until he became stale and just started saying the same things every week (Just after Wrestlemania). He's now up there with Swagger and Bob Backlund as being one of the most boring World Champions ever.

Why is Backlund one of the most boring world champions ever? The build up to his second reign was good (though it didn't last long obviously) and his first reign was in the days of legitmate wrestlers keeping the belt for years

Plus he put Nash over big time in the Garden (crawling to the dressing room selling the Jacknife) so at the very least, he's ace for that

Because he had the personality and intensity (not to mention the LOOK) of a ferret.

Doesn't make him any less boring. His first reign was in the era of Ric Flair, Harley Race, Superstar Billy Graham and Terry Funk. None of those were boring world champions.

Eric Bischoff. Remember when 3 years ago we could not wait to get him into wrestling once more and be on TV and be awesome! Turned out all the stories of 'he does not know wrestling at all' were true and he's been stinking it up in TNA since.

If they need him backstage for producing or what not, keep him there. He does not need to be on TV ever again.

BTW what IS his job in TNA? Secondly what is his JOB kayfabe wise? He lost right? Sting beat Hogan?

His purpose on-screen now is, for sure, unclear - I guess he's leader of what's left of Immortal. But he's been great in TNA - a genuinely unlikeable heel authority figure. I've never heard of these stories about not knowing wrestling, but as he's made a good living for most of his career out of it, I'd say they are probably bollocks.
