I'm more referring to him having the opportunity with WWE, but never being able to make it out of developmental. He was clearly never arsed hitting the gym.

Hero needs to work out more

Is that during his NXT days? You can only imagine what a bloke like Triple H thought when he saw that walking about. I've got a more sculpted and athletic physique than him. What a lazy bugger.

WWE has signed a new deal with NBC Universal to broadcast Raw and Smackdown. No official word on the money, but the stock dropped over 20%, according to the Observer. Meltzer also speculates that the deal rises to $155M in 2015, which is well below the $280M WWE were after.

Not a great few weeks for WWE, when you factor in the Network number.

Also sounds like talking the big numbers hurt in the negotiations because networks other than NBC thought WWE's suggested amounts were ludicrous and/or realised they were simply being used to bump up the price NBC would wind up paying.

Aye. Meltzer has said for months that the numbers WWE were after would make no financial sense for any Network into making money on their programming, such is the ad rate WWE commands. Still, to get well under $100M the projections is quite the defeat.

You wonder how they will try and spin this. They tried their hardest with the Network, pretending the low number was any good.

Especially when MLS which no-one even watches got a large increased. WWE wanted NASCAR level money and got next to fuck all. Obviously when TV companies want sports rights they want actual sports.

Still, TNA can breathe a little easier now.
