Wait that's actually a real idea??? I read a thing about it and just assumed it was one of those click bait sites making stuff up. But he has actually said this?? Mental idea, there is surely no way that idea gets past the Players union. Christ I'm someone who doesn't even like the DH rule, this would destroy me. Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted January 11, 2025 Paid Members Posted January 11, 2025 Mariners off-season is as thrilling and eventful as you would expect. One thing that has thrilled me though is seeing those two donkeybrained fans who attacked Mookie Betts have been indefinitely banned from every ballpark. Love to see it. https://www.bbc.com/sport/baseball/articles/c2d3gwl2r88o.amp Quote

Paid Members FLips Posted June 21, 2025 Paid Members Posted June 21, 2025 My hero Big Dumper broke the record for most HRs by a catcher before the All Star Break in MLB history. I’ve only been following baseball and the Mariners for I think 4 years now but it finally feels like we have our key player. I thought it would be Julio and don’t get me wrong he’s important, but Big Dumper is the man and for someone who became my favourite player even before he got his nickname it’s great to see. I finally managed to get some Mariners gear from the MLB shop too when I noticed they had a sale on. Quote

Paid Members FLips Posted October 9, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 9, 2025 Finally had two Mariners games on at a sensible time. One got rain delayed and we choked in the other. Hoping we tie it up tonight in Game 5 at home. Pain. Quote

It seems like the Mariners and the Tigers have been long overdue to be in the mix, shame it's against each other. Just hoping the Dodgers choke so anything else can happen. Quote

Bringing on Clayton Kershaw as a relief pitcher and then watching him give up 4 runs on 6 hits while walking 3 is a start. Quote

Paid Members FLips Posted October 11, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 11, 2025 15 innings but we did it. Now we have a day to recover our entire team and go beat the Blue Jays. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if it was an excellent defensive display or a dogshit offensive display or a combo of both. Quote
Paid Members seph Posted October 14, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 14, 2025 A routine 404ft double play. Nothing special. Quote
Paid Members FLips Posted October 14, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 14, 2025 A 10-3 Mariners trouncing and a Brewers game with that play and the final batter throwing the game by instinctively dodging a HBP. It’s shaping up to be a great end to the post season. Quote

Paid Members seph Posted October 16, 2025 Paid Members Posted October 16, 2025 Home teams are 0-5 in the semis. So much for the advantage. Quote
