The BBC have confirmed that David Cameron won't be returning early from holiday. However Dianne Abbott is out on the streets of Hackney doing TV interviews. :wacko: :wacko:

What the hell? Why isn't he doing anything? Can he not see that inferno in Croydon?

Incredible scenes in Croydon, I've never seen anything like it. So many buildings in flames.

I've seen figures like this thrown around on Facebook & Twitter;

Deaths in police custody reported since 1998 - Three hundred and thirty-three.

Number of charges brought against police officers - Zero.

Any truth to them? Anyone know?

I'm pretty sure it's Chinese whispers like the Birmingham Children hospital story, but apprently now there are reports of riots spreading to Chelmsley Wood, Perry Barr, Aston, Erdington, Handsworth.

That aerial image of Croydon is scary. Not just one fire, but loads off them dotted around the screen no matter which way the camera goes. Crazy stuff. Just text a girl I know who lives in Bow, not a million miles away from some of the trouble north of the Thames. She said the riots are getting closer to her. She's petrified and I wouldn't image watching Sky News will be helping her. Sickening.

Croydon is terrible, fucking arsonists! Tofu sandwiches and hugs isn't going to solve this. :(

Numbers are true, but the vast majority of them are straightforward cases of ODs taking time to finish someone off, some suicides and uncaught injuries. That sort of thing.
