As Doc Cochrane, as Piter De Vries, hell, even as Chucky, he's been consistently entertaining for years. But I'm surprised no-one's mentioned his turn as Grima Wormtongue in LOTR - he was one of the few good individual performances in a movie series that relied so heavily on special effects and overall plot.
