MoistVaj
When was the Big Boss Man's last appearance in the WWF, 1993? He seemed to just disappear straight after the Royal Rumble 93, but I was just reading the Q & A section from the August 93 edition of WWF magazine, in which someone writes in to ask when he'll return and they respond by stating ''soon''. Did his contract expire or did they just not use him anymore and he pissed off to WCW?

King Pitcos
According to Wikipedia, he left the WWF in March. I don't think he turned up in Japan wrestling Musawa and Kobashi until October though, and the August WWF magazine would've been written in about April or May so perhaps they were still expecting him back then. Moderators PowerButchi Posted November 12, 2011 Moderators Share Posted November 12, 2011 According to Graham Cawthon's site...  WWF @ Hull, Quebec - Robert Guertin Arena - March 14, 1993 The original lineup included the Nasty Boys vs. WWF Tag Team Champions Ted Dibiase & IRS, Tatanka vs. Papa Shango, the Headshrinkers vs. Owen Hart & Koko B. Ware, and Crush vs. Doink the Clown Doink the Clown defeated Kamala via count-out Bob Backlund defeated Papa Shango The Nasty Boys fought the Headshrinkers to a double count-out The Big Bossman defeated Doink the Clown via disqualification Yokozuna defeated the Undertaker via disqualification  Followed by  WWF @ Anaheim, CA - Arrowhead Pond - December 4, 1993 (6,400) Owen Hart defeated Johnny Polo at 7:50 via submission with the Sharpshooter after avoiding a dropkick off the top The Headshrinkers defeated Men on a Mission at 13:30 when Fatu pinned Mo with the splash off the top after Mabel had been knocked to the floor Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Doink the Clown at 9:35 by blocking a monkey flip out of the corner and putting his feet on the ropes for leverage; after the match, Doink and Dink fought off Bigelow and Luna Vachon Lex Luger pinned Ludvig Borga with the running forearm at 8:32 as Borga ran towards the corner; prior to the match, Luger was forced to wear a protective pad over his forearm by the referee; after the match, Boga's music briefly played by accident until Luger's "Star Spangled Banner" began Bastion Booger pinned Marty Jannetty at 7:58 with a splash after Jannetty missed a crossbody off the top Rick & Scott Steiner defeated WWF Tag Team Champions Quebecars via disqualification at 11:27 when Jacques stopped the referee from making the 3-count after Scott hit the Frankensteiner on Pierre Bret Hart pinned Jeff Jarrett at 17:50 with a back suplex into a bridge after Jarrett collided with guest referee the Big Bossman  Sounds like it's a favour for a one off or something, and he started with WCW a few days later.  WCW @ Atlanta, GA - Center Stage Theatre - December 13, 1993 WCW Saturday Night taping: 12/18/93: WCW International World Champion Rick Rude defeated Davey Boy Smith via forfeit in a non-title match; Smith was introduced for the bout but failed to appear; following the commercial break, Okerlund conducted a ringside interview with Gary Juster from the WCW Board of Directors in which he said Smith was contractually obligated to compete in the match and would be given 30 seconds to come out or he would lose the match via forfeit; after Rude was announced as the winner, Rude took the mic and said Smith backed out of the match because he was scared and wasn't man enough to face Rude; Rude continued to insult Smith and said he himself was unbeatable and would retire as world champion; moments later, the Boss ran in the ring and began assaulting Rude which led to an impromptu match The Boss pinned WCW International World Champion Rick Rude in a non-title match at 10:29 with the sidewalk slam; the Boss wore his blue WWF attire for the bout; the contest replaced the scheduled Smith vs. Rude match which was taped 11/30/93 but did not air due to Smith's firing; clips of the Smith vs. Rude bout aired during the episode's opening; following the match, Okerlund conducted a ringside interview with the Boss regarding his arrival to WCW, during which he called Rude a criminal and said he wanted Rude's belt (Ray Traylor's surprise return after a nearly 6-year absence)
MoistVaj
Cheers lads. Â Â It's a shame he left in 93, Big Boss Man propping up the mid card could have made for some interesting feuds and matches which were sorely lacking back then, Wrestlemania IX for example could have seen him take on Razor instead of Bob Backlund.
