Well Lewis is out, bit of a shcok there. Also Wade really struggled tonight with a very low average.

The first set of the Painter game raised hopes of this being a great game, but he just didnt do much after it and lost in a boring game.

Ive watched a load of the darts this year, but seemed to have missed every one of his matches. He must have played all his games in the early afternoon, when I cant watch it. He showed some decent stuff in the Grand Slam, so seems to be a Top 16 player for sure.

 

 

Baxter and Barney had a classic game. Possibly even better than Mardle/Thornton. That last set was unbelievably good entertainment. Barney has so much class and bottle. When it comes to crucial doubles, Barney almost always hits them. He hit some belters last night.

 

 

He now plays Klassen, who beat Hamilton. Klassen is playing the best darts since his switch to the PDC. Quality scoring and great on the doubles.

 

 

Unless Klassen pulls something out of the bag, it looks nailed on to be Barney vs Taylor in the final.

If anyone can turn Taylor over, it'll be Merv, who's already done him at least twice this season. He has a real good chance, that's if Taylor gets past Stompe, who has also beaten him this year in a PDC final in Germany.

Fucketh me! Taylor was phenomenal... 4 sets and 1 leg up and a 110 average! I'll have to check the final average once the report comes in, I hope this isn't his peak of the tournament though.
