  1. So if you sliced two rings off the baguette and made a little round sandwich that would be ok?
  2. I just had a first listen to this album and went looking for this thread to post about it. I can only imagine you wrote that post within the first 10 tracks and didn't realise how long the album is because it takes a sharp nosedive in to complete garbage that I'll definitely never listen to again. I will listen to start of the album again though, some nice stuff in there. I did find it funny that ghostface has clearly taken advantage of Kanye's plummeting stock to bag a feature off him. Carny that he is. (Kanye's verse is dogshit, if anyone is wondering)
  3. Fuck no. King coconut needs to be held accountable for chatting bollocks.
  4. Not going to remove the link because this doesn't make the content necessarily any less true, but this is what Cannibal Man is referring to with the less-than-savory character of the author: I'm not personally aware of any other articles floating around covering this but if you're discussing this elsewhere you might want to find a different source to share.
  5. Wait, what is it then? Is there some weird sandwich gatekeeping rule I'm not aware of?
  6. Thanks for all that, @JLM. You've got me really hyped to dive into this game now! The thing that's holding me off Hades 2 is because the way the story unfolds through your runs was so amazing and well done in the first, and I read that there isn't an end to the story in the early release at the moment so I feel like I'll be doing the game a disservice by ruining the pacing of the storytelling by starting to play it now. I'm sure actual runs will still be great fun and it'd be actually quite cool to see how the game changes as updates come and weapons and attacks get rebalanced, the story is so strong in the original I don't want to ruin that for myself in the sequel.
  7. Going to pick up Street Fighter 6 this weekend as I have arranged to catch up with a friend over a game online and we thought we'd treat ourselves to this instead of playing 5 as it's very affordable on cdkeys. Will happily welcome any thoughts or advice - @Jazzy G or @JLM I suspect may have some input! Also I see that Hades 2 is in early release. I really want to hold out to play it when it's properly finished, but I'm sorely tempted.
  8. I'm useless as far as the other stuff goes but light cotton or linen longsleeves and trousers should keep him cool enough. Would he wear sandals or crocs? That could help just not having to have socks on.
  9. I think the answer with how you view Brent lies in how forgivable you find cowardice as a character flaw.
  10. Feel pretty sick reading that tbh. Struggling to to find any way to read that as jokes or banter the way he's said it. Absolutely foul. He can recant it all he wants (well not anymore he can't, lol) but I'll continue to believe it was his genuinely held feelings on the matter.
  11. Ha! I can't imagine we are the only two for whom that was their first thought. Something about the pose is very Baddiel as well.
  12. And regardless of whether we've changed or not I certainly can't see those 'shades of grey' having been the intention with which he was written. Because Gervais is still that cunty now. Not that it matters for the purpose of the discussion, death of the author and all that.
  13. 1) abolish football forever. And then I shall retire, my great works complete. Fog Dude said: fewer tech/textiles/cooking lessons (kids can always do that in their spare time), more grammar, eSports & film studies classes I feel like I may have missed a joke here but if I haven't this is proper mad this one, of all the ridiculous things I've read in this thread. Let's take away useful practical skills and have kids play computer games and watch movies.
  14. I've been seeing an increase in live music gigs for small artists having meet-and-greet or dinner-with opportunities and despite having never been to one I have confidence that those absolutely qualify for this thread.
  15. Just watched this. Maybe it was my incredibly low expectations, or that I am procrastinating from some work I need to do this evening but I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. The stacked cast doesn't hurt of course, enough novelty there keep it moving and push you through what is at its core a really stupid plot.
