Santino_Is_Awsome Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ll693uRLGpY Corino vs Hashimoto. From NWA 50th anniversary show i believe. (worked shoot ending)
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted June 28, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 28, 2011 I remember at the time reading it was all real. Dave Meltzer was emailed a different result so when people looked at the tape or heard about the match it was different to watch the sheets reported. Jimmy Del Ray even had a pull apart with Hashimoto backed stage to further work the locker room. Them were the days. Worked shoots were big post-Attitude era.
CTXRussomark Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 What part was meant to be the worked shoot? The finish or the brawl afterwards? Everything looked like a normal rasslin' pull apart to me.

The NWA sent the results to all the sheets before the main event, saying the finnish was going to be Corino > Hashimoto. So when hashimoto won, the net was buzzing with tales of Hashimoto shooting on Corino.

Can understand that being more effective back then since there was no Youtube or such to immediately see footage. Would the sheets not find it a bit weird being e-mailed the results ahead of time though??
Paid Members Rob Lowe Posted June 29, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 29, 2011 nice video about Andre from the Princess Bride DVD. That was really nice. All his wrestling pals seem to brag about his drinking, its good to hear some positive things from other people.

It would seem Tony Chimel isn't well liked In WWE. Here's another one. It includes more recent content as well as some great house show footage from 1998 involving Shawn Michaels, Steve Austin and Triple H.
Shovanist Pig Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Taker interview 2003 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qb9NdcI7ckU Good little out of character interview with Taker. Very rare indeed.
Paid Members CleetusVanDamme Posted June 30, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 30, 2011 Two excellent big Kev promo's for AWE to build up to their October show, where he'll get to kill Ricky Morton, and get paid a large sum to do it. Nash is revealed as Doug Gibsons tag partner http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...xXeq3m_DQ#at=19 Buried or cremated? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...p;v=5yW2NIZNsyU
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted June 30, 2011 Paid Members Posted June 30, 2011 The promo with Doug Gillbert was really class. He's a scary fucker when he starts. I'm going to track the match down. Even though it'll probably be shite, but the promo sold me on it.

SteelEdge Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Absolutely cracking match from WWE Superstars this week.. Usos and Trent Baretta vs Slater, Gabriel, and Kidd
Shovanist Pig Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 That was a good 'un. I feel most of those guys need more worth as characters though. We know they can go in the ring. WWE just need to find them more of a purpose instead of having random matches on Superstars that don't really mean anything. The Usos are coming along nicely. The rest need more.
Mr Lawrence Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Rude at his best, good commentary between The Body and Vince as well. Jesse at 3.28 mentions Patterson. great rude promo on piper.
