The Bucks & Josh Alexander vs Jurassic Express & Omega in a ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!! match. I dunno. Feels like a TV match not really worthy of a PPV. I feel like they're still trying to work out exactly how physically fucked Kenny is and it's holding them back from booking him in anything worthwhile.

there's a story there in the Bucks becoming increasingly reluctant to hurt Kenny, and Kenny not fully trusting Jack Perry, but it's a story they basically don't tell at all during the match and then expect you to care about when the Bucks are inexplicably conflicted about whether to superkick Kenny in an angle afterwards.

It's all very odd. The story was that Kenny was set to face Kyle Fletcher at Wrestledream, but they didn't run with it because Kenny didn't think he could physically give Kyle the kind of match that deserves. So you got Andrade attacking Kenny, but even before Andrade disappeared off the face of the earth, he was booked in a title match for WWC in Puerto Rico the day of the PPV, so presumably that match was never going to happen either. There's a thousand other people in the Don Callis Family, and they didn't pivot to Kenny facing either of them, and only had him involved in the post-match for the Jurassic Express match. I know Tony Khan's worst trait as a booker is just leaving people spinning their wheels when the original plan falls through, but Kenny vs. Don Callis Family should have been an easy fix, just book him against any other member, or in a multi-man against them if he is too broken.

I also don't know what the pay-off of the money matches will be - the Bucks winning and getting more gambling vignettes? The Bucks winning thanks to Don Callis, and him taking a cut, or buying off someone to be their bodyguard? Nobody really believes there's money involved in this stuff, so there needs to be a good storyline development about the money and what it's spent on.

I still think that they've missed a trick by not doing Matt vs. Nick in a money match.

Yeah, as much as I’ve enjoyed The Broke Bucks storyline, the booking of Kenny Omega in the second half of this year has done my head in.

If he isn’t confident he can deliver a big Kenny Omega singles match on pay per view, then stop shooting the angles that would naturally lead to them. Not only is it frustrating from a viewing experience, but it makes Kenny’s character look stupid for not seeking the most basic of revenge. Has he even mentioned Kyle Fletcher since he murdered him? Have they interacted once?

Also, Kenny needs to go back and re-watch that Sonny Kiss match that kickstarted the Belt Collector run. Not every match has to be a twenty five minute New Japan classic. If anything, Kyle Fletcher would probably gain more if he smashed Omega to bits in record time.

What did Meltzer rate Goldberg vs. Brock at Survivor Series? If it he didn’t rate it the five stars it deserved then I blame Big Dave for the last ten years of everyone thinking LONG EQUALS GOOD.

I'm surprised they put that CMLL Trios match on the pre-show, considering who is involved. I wonder if that will fall into the main show, similar to last month.

Probably the weakest AEW PPV line-up ever. I don’t know what they’re thinking, putting on a card this poor. After being so good for so long this year, it’s such a shame that AEW is ending 2025 with shows like this.

It feels like there are a lot of rematches on this card. It’s not something I usually notice with AEW even if they do it, but it stands out - the World Title match and TNT Title match both happened at the last PPV, Mox vs Kyle’s happened twice in the last month , and I saw FTR and Brodido for half an hour already in Glasgow.

I might watch this wrestling if it turns out to be an excellent show, but I’ll not be parting with money in advance for it.

I know they like to keep track of match series and assign them numbers like they do in boxing/MMA, but I think I'd think twice before noting on a poster t that it's Fletcher vs Briscoe SIX.

Not going to bother with this one, I think. Even if it means I end up paying comparatively more for World's End by not getting the 2-pack. It's a shame as I do like to support AEW PPVs, and a particular shame as 2 of my top 10 favourite wrestlers ever are in the main event in a steel cage match. I just don't want to see it that much.

I'd love, for a short programme only, a callback to the Dark Order helping Hangman out if there's a beatdown after the main event. I know its probably only me that would want to see it and probably little to no logical reason for it to happen, but it would just put a smile on my face and be a brief moment of 'feeling good' with the AEW main event scene

Funny that the best thing about both Full Gear and Survivor Series are the posters.

I’m reminded of WWF in 1996, when everything was a bit shit, and they recognised the most interesting thing they had was the magazine, so they brought Vince Russo into the creative team.

Half a dozen graphic designers in both AEW and WWE suddenly getting a promotion, whether they want it or not.
