I’d imagine it’s more because it’s in Australia and Bronson is an Aussie. They did it last time with Rhea vs Nia when they were in Australia for a PPV(The only time women have main evented a non Evolution show).

Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair say hi!

Very good show top to bottom.  Cena/Styles obviously the highlight but every match delivered. Does feel as if the booking has taken a bit of a turn this last week or so and improved. Hopefully it can continue going towards the end of the year and into Mania season.

There are people who won't have enjoyed AJ/Cena, and those are the sort of people I don't need in my life. An utterly beautiful love letter to this ridiculously stupid thing we love.

I had a friend over that wanted to watch it so I watched pretty much the whole show. I enjoyed it way more than Brock/Cena but I thought they were spamming finishers far too much to the point I commented it was like when you do a CAW and give them nothing but finishes. About 2 minutes before Wade said similar. I’d did like the AJ introduction before the start of the match and as a way of closing the chapter between them, it was good.

Didn't like the opener and didn’t really understand why the Uso’s are now besties with Roman again, but whatever.

Womens match was fine, felt like they could have done a lot more if they had more then the under 10 minutes they got. The undefeated Tiff losing like that, that quickly? She deserved better.

Womens tag almost suffered with the opposite in I felt it went a little long, but they are all great and overall was my favourite match.

Is there any move they have ruined the aura off then the Cross Rhodes? Gone from needing a minimum of 3 to win a match to a Super Cross Rhodes from the top rope getting a 2. As fun as the coast to coast headbutt was, and always call to see a Vertibreaker, I didn’t rate this much. Not a shock as I’ve never liked Seth and Cody as champ seems to regress his matches for some reason. Definitely not for me.

Overall I thought it was one of the better PLE’s they’ve done this year certainly seems to have been enjoyed more than Palooza was last month so that’s good to see.

John Cena and AJ Styles having a match of the year candidate in Twenty twenty five. You absolutely love to see it. I was smiling ear to ear.

Good for John Cena. For as bad as the heel run was, he’s completely found his groove doing this Grade A bollocks. A daft masterpiece.

Was it good then? Reading that they used a bunch of other guys moves makes it sound like Indy shite.

Was it a love letter to their old rivals or a love letter to Al Snow/Steve Corino from the first 1PW show?

Saw a pic of AJ in his old TNA gear which I did like.

There was no Garvin Stomp so I'd say it was a love letter to old rivals.

The very reason pro-wrestling is the best thing ever is because Toni Storm and Mariah May killing each other in a horror film, Hangman Adam Page saving the Fucking World in nail-biting high drama and AJ Styles and John Cena doing the silliest House Show goofball match can all be in the running for Match of the Year.

He teased a fucking 619 after the fans started chanting for it! Cena’s wonky, shitty attempt at actually hitting a 619 is now all I need in my life. He better start practicing!

Bonus points for about three quarters of the entire arena wearing his yellow shirt. Looked amazing. Felt like when Paul Heyman would hand out those styrofoam heads for Al Snow.

What a buzz. A complete home run.

Of course John Cena’s inherent ridiculousness managed to turn this wretched run around. Life finds a way.

It was like one of those jokes that is kinda funny at first, but then it stops being funny, but then comes back around to having you in stitches. They do a couple of little nods, but then it turns into them just taking turns doing a move each, but then gets back on track.

It’s fine. It’s fun. MOTY is hyperbolic though.
