Fog Dude Posted November 5, 2025 Author Posted November 5, 2025 The final scores went into the original post on Sunday early evening, and since we weren't waiting on any later results the table was figured out soon after that too. Despite a low-scoring round, there was yet another change at the top as ultimo re-overtook worst performer Stinky Dad to regain the lead by a single point. TildeGuy is closing in on that duo as the only participant into double figures this time out, but special mention to Vegeta for also getting more than one exact score. The gap at the bottom remains eight points, but both Chutney Spoon and myself are at risk of getting cast further adrift. With no D2D, the only bonus point went to Rory for correctly guessing the outcome of the randomly selected "wildcard" fixture, match #6 in Glasgow - but even there, a late fourth goal for The Buddies cost him a potential three further points. Elsewhere, wins for Brighton, Arsenal, Barrow, Celtic and Leipzig generally proved fruitful, but a home reverse for Spurs, a collapse on the road for Hamburg and an away loss for the women from Paisley caught a lot of people out. A score draw at The City Ground also turned in a curate's egg of picks. Right, time for a long overdue fairly simple card to appear in the initial post, I reckon. Should be there in just a tick. Fog Dude Posted November 12, 2025 Author Posted November 12, 2025 The results were up in the opening post last thing on Sunday, and the updated table followed fairly quickly since it was a low-scoring round. The only movement was in mid-table since three people all move down a place after Vegeta got his D2D bet right. Half a dozen pickers wrongly thought that Liverpool would emerge from Eastlands with a draw. The top two remain the same, but ultimo goes four points clear of joint worst performer Stinky. Four is now the gap at the other end too, as Chutney Spoon reduces the deficit by being the only participant to get an exact scoreline spot on this time out and, almost needless to say, that would make him the highest scorer if you don't take into account bonuses. He did get one bonus point though, alongside Tilde and Rory, for the randomly selected "wildcard" fixture, match #4 at Villa Park. Nobody thought the home side would run away with it as they did in the end, but they did at least all plump for the correct outcome. Elsewhere, victories for Everton, West Ham, Forest and Barcelona all generally proved decent for one-pointers, but dropped points for Arsenal and another reverse for Newcastle, plus stalemates in the similar neighbourhoods of Croydon and Vallecas, caught most players out. And with that, we're into another international break. All the Home Nations will feature in the next set of 10 at the top of the thread shortly then, alongside a smattering of men's and women's club matches to pad things out. Oh, and it's a chance to get another round of FPL Cup group fixtures out of the way too... Quote
