This was fun 3 incorrect for me - I knew what the first category I went with was, but had to take a punt on the final answer!

EDIT: I can’t solve your second one - definitely the hardest to date for me! I’m going to keep trying though…

EDIT #2: 61 errors later, it’s done. I ended up just trying random combinations after solving the first two categories, and it’s amazing how many ways there are to fuck something up when there are only eight names to work with. Kicking myself after seeing the solutions!

There's a definite balancing act to be done with these between providing some challenge (and hopefully raising a smile with some of the eventual links) and tipping over into proper "oh, come ON" shithousery.

subbed in Scott Steiner or Scott Hall as a bit of a redder herring on the WWF/WCW/ECW/TNA one. As it is it's kind of a case of "pick out the ECW guys" and the other element is superfluous. 

I wanted to use Mason Ryan in place of Tim Wiese in the football category too, but didn't want to end up on the losing side of an "actually, much of the Welsh Premier is barely semi-pro" argument (I've no idea if it is or isn't!)

I must say working out the farmers one was very satisfying. Actually went “Ohhhhh Jumping Jeff FAAARMER” out loud.

Yours have both been a lot of fun - a warm up, then one so brutally hard it would make Elden Ring weep. I got caught out by the same thing as @JLM - I recognised what the category was, but couldn’t quite work out who didn’t fit, and where they fit instead.

Single figures on Roy's, but needed dozens of attempts at Selecta's wall even knowing it was Rumble-themed and despite figuring out what one of the categories was straight away.

Similar story for Harmonic's though I appreciate the red herrings. Only one incorrect on Statto's first and seven on the second - more like that which make me feel smart, please!

Still stumped again on Bent Wookie's latest, 34 incorrect so far and the best I've managed is a few "one away... " notifications. I can spot loads of potential connections:

Thanks, but that hardly helped. Eventually got there with 66 incorrect attempts. To be fair, that's one fact I probably should've remembered but the actual categories feel quite niche even for absolute tragics like us.

I'm about to contest a quiz in a minute, and then present one tomorrow. It's not in this format, and it's on sport in general rather than just wrestling, but this experience does have me worried that it'll come across like "which turn-of-the-millennium sporting facts was I nostalgic about this week? Please read my mind" and that won't make me very popular with the people taking the quiz.
