Paid Members Surf Digby Posted February 22, 2024 Paid Members Posted February 22, 2024 Jack Endino. He sounds like Harrison Ford being played at 33rpm. Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted February 22, 2024 Paid Members Posted February 22, 2024 Lawrence Tierney is an all-timer. Quote

cobra_gordo Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 Harvey Fierstein's voice soothes my soul. Tragically no megacuts of his parts in Mrs Doubtfire and Independence Day so have him giving Barbara Walters grief instead. I fucking love Nathan Lane. His talking voice it's pretty close to Billy Crystal's but with the added bonus of the Tom and Jerry screams and actually being likeable. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted June 2, 2024 Paid Members Posted June 2, 2024 Just been listening to the Whodunnits list on iPlayer - Donald Sinden sounds wonderfully gravelly as Gideon Fell. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/b04bzw4w?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile Quote
Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted June 3, 2024 Paid Members Posted June 3, 2024 James Robertson Justice sounding permanently annoyed and with an all-time great gag right at the end. Quote
Paid Members Carbomb Posted August 15, 2024 Paid Members Posted August 15, 2024 (edited) Looking for variant recipes on fondant potatoes, and Walter Trupp sounds like a vampire who's using potatoes as a substitute for blood: EDIT: Also, the way the video's lit for his talking head sections really makes it look like he's trying to become the Youtube chef for horror fans. EDIT2: Just realised I missed the end - he consumes nearly a whole bottle of red wine in two mahoosive glasses, and sounds pissed. I can imagine a series in which Count Orlok watches a Keith Floyd show and decides to start his own chef career. Edited August 15, 2024 by Carbomb Quote
Paid Members Lorne Malvo Posted December 17, 2025 Paid Members Posted December 17, 2025 I know the Irish accent is a delight anyway, but I've just been listening to an interview with Kerry Condon and she has one of my favourite voices ever. I've had 'You're all fecking boring!' stuck in my head since I first watched Banshees of Inisherin. Quote
