Do please let me know if you think I've made another slip-up. Assuming it's accurate, ultimo has continued to pick up where he left off with amazing form from the end of last season and now leads the pack at this early stage. Previous leader Shy Dad drops from first to fourth, which is the kind of thing that usually only happens in August too. Sandwiched in between them are Tilde and Rory, with the latter taking this week's best performer honours. At the other end, Pete and seph both returned but are still suffering from that missed round. Of those who picked on time every week so far, Vegeta is somehow propping up the bunch despite averaging a more than respectable seven points over that short period. The 'wildcard' fixture was randomly selected as match #1 this time, Arsenal's comeback win over Fulham which everyone ultimately guessed right, but the bonuses only go to those with the correct scoreline, who get two extra points each. Elsewhere, wins for Wolves (yup, a home reverse at Goodison isn't really a surprise anymore), Man Utd (Jeff Stelling would've been having a fit at five past three if he hadn't retired), Man City (despite that Haaland missed penalty which is almost tempting me to break my own rule and have a Fantasy League grumble), Liverpool (what a smash and grab, and what a different effect the red card had compared to Forest and the Cottagers) and Palmeiras all proved fruitful, as did a draw at Brentford. Only a stoppage-time triumph for Chesterfield (which probably had the same effect on Stelling, come to think of it) and both American matches ending without a winner caught most people out. I've received one more PM with Dare 2 Disagree choices since the last update, so thanks for that. We're not at the 'name and shame' phase yet, but I might initiate the convo myself if I don't hear from the one remaining person in the coming few days.
