The results went into the opening post last night following the conclusion of the back-and-forth game in Leuven which nobody scored any points from anyway, with only joint top scorer Stinky Dad – the only participant to get a Scottish Cup scoreline spot on – even so much as betting on a draw. He moves into second place in the table, reaching his century but still 10 points behind ultimo. A similar level of optimism about the outcome in South Wales meant Rory kept seph from being weekly worst performer despite the latter getting his D2D bet wrong. The gap to Pete therefore remains the same.

Not sure I like Cardiff much anymore (or indeed Belgium, which is where I met that Ebbw Vale guy who despised Swansea) but it's not their fault that we decided to follow the lead of some two-bob outfit from north of the river by sacking a manager out of the blue within the past week. Anyway, MVP RULZ was also equal highest scorer this time out on a baker's dozen and he could certainly do with more rounds worthy of a champion like that. Shy Dad joins him and Stinky on an unlucky number thanks to a late goal from Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Yes, that does imply the 'wildcard' match was randomly selected as #1 again. With Arsenal winning 4-0 a few people were on course for a bonus point each, but as soon as the Gunners hit 5 it caused both the bonuses to make their way to Herefordshire... which we'll be doing this weekend.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. Elsewhere, wins for Bournemouth, Man City, Real Madrid and PSV all proved fruitful alongside a score draw at Molineux, but one of the shocks of the day north of the border caught everyone out as East Fife found themselves on the wrong end of an upset.

So, as I hinted above, there'll be an FA Cup D2D among the set of 10 that should be up in the initial post shortly.

The final scores appeared at the top of the thread on Monday night, but given the madcap outcome at Tottenham the table might as well have been worked out before then. Nobody scored any points for that, and to make matters worse it was the randomly selected 'wildcard' fixture so there were no more bonuses awarded beyond the D2Ds either. Speaking of which, Shy Dad got his bet wrong but the result was in doubt until very late on and would've catapulted him into second place had Hereford turned things around, but ultimately the referee led his Gills side to a 2-0 win so everyone else here got two bonus points apiece.

That left him as joint lowest scorer and only just hanging on inside the top half. The only movement sees some shuffling among the chasing pack as ultimo's lead remains at 10 points. Although not into double figures for the round, Rory deserves a special mention for getting the scoreline at Bramall Lane spot on, while fellow Robin seph was also one of the few participants to get more than one three-pointer, making him the weekly best performer this time out and hopefully provoking a proper race to avoid the wooden spoon too.

Of the other matches, victories for Rangers and Bayern generally proved fruitful, with successes for Brentford, Palace and Aberdeen also being mostly good for one-pointers. A late triumph for Newcastle and a score draw at Goodison, on the other hand, turned out a tad tougher to guess beforehand.

The next card should go live in the original post in just a tick.
