Went to Sodo pizza on Saturday night in the end, which was fantastic.

Absolutely galling that these days my 12yo puts away as much as me, and then had a brownie and ice cream. No idea where she puts it.

Also went in Bite To Eat cafe in Tottenham yesterday which I haven't been in years. Woman who runs it has the most amazing cockney/Turkish accent and would end every sentence in Turkish to the kitchen with "innit"

Had a ham omelette and chips and again 12yo put away these.

Also had a Popeyes, and then today at southbank food market, we got a drink from Elephant Juice (mine was absolutely shit but I did ask her for the healthiest one as I've eaten rubbish all weekend), flat white from Ethiopian Coffee Company (might be the best coffee I've ever had) and a crepe with Nutella, from Crepe a la Carte. All big recommends.

Amazing weekend, and although London overwhelms her, she coped incredibly well and never moaned once, which considering we walked Seven Sisters to the stadium and back is incredible (if you know etc)

My feet and knees are absolutely fucked, I've spent a bomb and I'm eating noodles for the rest of the year but wouldn't have it any other way. Until August N17.

I run an agency for actors and dancers, and one of the things we do is organise dance battles. This weekend on Saturday, we've got a 2 vs 2, all-styles battle on in Wood Green, norf Lahndon - special theme is soundtracks: they'll be dancing either to famous/notorious film or TV tracks, or remixes thereof. All styles means predominantly popping, locking, breaking, and waacking, but we expect some unusual dancers to turn up.

Anyone resident in London or visiting - if you're at a loose end on Saturday evening, maybe consider us an option!

The venue is a really cool little space - they have a great bar, and a superb little vegan kitchen.

This popped up on my Instagram a few days ago and I thought it looked really cool! Unfortunately I have my parents visiting this weekend - going to see the Beach Boys (or what’s left of them!) - otherwise I would’ve bought a ticket.

No worries at all! Appreciate the consideration. Enjoy the Beach Boys!
