Watched the one where Livia dies recently - dodgy CG Livia scene aside it's an all time great episode (and I think the first appearance of Ralph?). There's an interesting bit in it where Janice finds that Livia kept all of Tony's school work but threw out all of Janice and Barbara's. Shows the complexity and brilliance of Livia's character where you are unsure if she did this because:

a) she genuinely had love for Tony and wanted to keep the childhood mementos.

b) she did it intentionally knowing that it would upset Janice and Barbara and potentially cause a rift/create drama between them and Tony.

c) when Tony finds out he'll be racked with guilt for being such a terrible son.

Also has an all timer scene of Christopher high off his nuts, talking absolute bollocks at the wake. Finishes with "What I'm trying to say is..." and then he just stares off into the distance.

I love it. Just talking total cobblers.

Also enjoy Carmella’s Dad’s outburst about Livia. “WE SUFFERED FOR YEARS UNDER THE YOKE OF THAT WOMAN. YEARS!”

"Who are you, minister of propaganda?" is a superb line from Hugh.

Later I believe at the Intervention, Carmella says, as if it’s a major revelation she happens to know he was high on drugs at her Mother in Law’s wake. Like no shit.

Found this out the other day, when the series finished, Gandolfini bought Tony's wardrobe and auctioned it all for charity. What a bloke.

Spoiler: didn't include the jaaaackeeeeet.

I absolutely do not have the time in my life right now to start a rewatch of The Sopranos, but you lot are really testing me. It's the greatest.

We finished it at the start of the summer and recently gave in and have started again. Watched the Richie and the jacket episode yesterday and he says it so much like Uncle Leo from Seinfeld. I bloody love Richie, he's absolutely terrifying.

Also forgot the bit when Chris reveals he saw his Dad in hell in an Irish bar. Paulie's confident calculations and reasoning of why he'll have to do 6000 years in purgatory (nothin' in eternity terms) is just brilliant.

I love the semi-regular running thing throughout the show of Tony using words completely wrong. There are a few examples that are gems but this one might be the best for me…

Along the same lines but not quite, the way Phil says “Ate grilled cheese off the raddiator” is a favourite of mine.

Another favourite…

Melfi tells Tony that ‘amour fou’ means ‘crazy love’.

Tony while trying to dump Gloria - “Look, we had our mofo or whatever”.
