The Reddit link isn’t pasting right so here is a summary: Daniel Wheeler, a tag-team champion in All Elite Wrestling, was arrested Friday morning by the Orlando Police Department and charged with one count of aggravated assault with a firearm. He was booked in Circuit Court, according to county records. Wheeler, 36, better known in wrestling circles as Cash Wheeler, is a member of the tag team FTR with Dax Harwood. They hold the promotion’s tag-team championship. AEW is generally considered the No. 2 wrestling promotion in the U.S. behind WWE; Wheeler is scheduled to wrestle Aug. 27 in London on a show expected to draw 80,000 fans. Wheeler is an 18-year veteran wrestler who spent six years in the WWE system, including time in Orlando-based NXT, before joining AEW in 2020. Paid Members FLips Posted August 18, 2023 Paid Members Share Posted August 18, 2023 Apparently a 5 year prison sentence as a maximum unless it turns out he threatened a public worker like police or firefighter in which case it’s a 2nd degree felony and gets pushed up to 15 years. I haven’t really followed Dax’s online shenanigans so I’m still a big fan of FTR and was excited to see them live. Maybe you go with Young Bucks vs Jay White/Juice (which admittedly would be a fucking BANGER) and maybe Omega vs Takeshita as a singles or Hangman/Ibushi/Omega in a hastily thrown together Trios with House of Black?
