Both of them had World Titles and then vacated them. Cacace vacated his belt to make this fight happen. Wood was using his belt as a bargaining chip for a super, unification fight at the City Ground. One last big pay day But it never happened. 

Both of them are 36, so looks to be one last big pay day in Woods home city in front of a sold out crowd.

I don't know about anyone else, but the boxing being on DAZN has almost completely removed it from my cultural radar. I pretty much never see anything in the wild about shows, and only find out they're happening by coming on here or by someone asking me if I'm watching something.

Considering at one point not that long ago boxing was my absolute #1 sport, it's pretty mad. Mad that it seems to have disappeared from the places I usually mindlessly consume content, but also mad when I think how reliant I am on that level of absent minded consumption.

Probably won’t happen but I’d love to see Dave Allen absolutely chin Johnny Fisher tonight just to shut Fisher’s morbidly rotund mess of a Dad up for a bit.

Oh and if I never hear the word “Copperbosh” again it’ll be too soon.

It must be odd for you Daz seeing Queensbury on DAZN considering you worked for Frank in his "Who the fuck is going to watch boxing on an App" phase

DAZN promotion of boxing at times can be pretty poor. They could do more for getting it out there, boxing seems to run on an 'if you know you know basis a lot of the time.

Im abit too much in the bubble to comment accurately. I use DAZN regular so its great for me but I can imagine casual viewers/channel hoppers are probably wondering where all the boxing went.

Saying that, every cunt has an IPTV service these days, so maybe they are watching?
