Very annoyingly, I had the fight spoiled for me by a notification by Youtube Music of all places. I've been catching up on the fallout though. Wardley tweeted clearing up the count, it all seems legit enough but it does feel very quick.

Also, Keyshawn Davis went and made even more a tit of himself after the weigh-in bollocks. After this brother lost Saturday night, Keyshawn jumped his opponent backstage. Just a wally who clearly think hes untouchable.

Looks like Galal Yafai got match made with the wrong Mexican last night. Francisco Rodriguez Jr had only lost to top level world champion flyweights before. Stuck it on Yafai from the start and he just surrendered the fight and his title.

The demolition of a disinterested Sunny Edwards may have raised their expectations of how good Yafai was.

Oh, we got some bullshit this weekend.

Feels like the chat has completely died concerning anything Jake Paul's boxing career. Talk is, he'll be ranked and will attempt a legit run after this but I doubt that.

Probably would have been intriguing if Chavez wasn't coming off a decade of completely destroying his families name. Still, it would be nice to see him turn up and take this seriously.

Undercard is decent though if you want to watch some proper shit.

Oh, Deontay Wilder low-key returns against a guy who's been stopped 3 times in the first two rounds, it wont go 3 minutes.

The YouTuber wins on points. Chavez is absolutely washed but he still be fine to stay on his feet and hear the final bell. I think he has only fought once in almost  4 years and that was against Hall(who I believe was a MMA fighter in UFC years ago from memory)

Wilder wins when he hits his first significant shot on Herndon, hopefully it's within a minute seeing as in his previous 2 fights that he has lost, he has barely thrown a punch

Anybody on here actually buying either of these two PPV's?

From the clips I've seen online Wilder looked pretty average, and 7 rounds to get the job done is hardly inspiring stuff.

Wilder is done at any sort of high level in the Heavyweight division.  Taken seven  rounds to beat up what is essentially a tomato can  in front of him. Wilder at his best flattens Herndon in one or two rounds. The brutal Fury third fight finished him at the top level. He left everything in the ring that night, his heart and soul,  but he took punishment that night, that most fighters don’t come back from, add in all the inactivity in recent years and there's barely anything left. 

He talked a big game after the fight, it's a new beginning, he was taking his time, setting up his shorts,  wants to show that he is more then just a right hand and that he wants to be a complete fighter. He's 39 now, I think that ship has long sailed. No doubt more begin to ramp up when the new Anthony Joshua V5.0 returns to the ring about him and Wilder finally facing off against one another.
