Paid Members John Matrix Posted February 11, 2024 Paid Members Posted February 11, 2024 Stumbled across a channel showing 1996's 'The Fan' last night. Massively underrated film I reckon, one of the best examples of those thrillers the mid 90's did so well, there's absolutely no fat on it, Snipes is brilliant in a more dramatic role, and i'm no De Niro enthusiastic (as my general tastes no doubt reveal) but he's fucking terrifying in this and it says something about his performance and this song choice, that by the time it plays over the end credits, you almost feel sorry for the mad bastard. If you're fragile like me, have a tissue ready. Quote

Awards Moderator Frankie Crisp Posted February 12, 2024 Awards Moderator Posted February 12, 2024 My Mum has a few senior moments and constantly refers to Trent Alexander-Arnold as Terence Trent D’Arby. I didn’t correct her about Sananda Maitreya until Sadio Mane left Liverpool. Quote
Paid Members Sergio Mendacious Posted February 12, 2024 Paid Members Posted February 12, 2024 (edited) Can't think about Sananda Maitreya without this popping into my head. Not complaining, mind. EDIT — going to get that Giovanni Giorgio dollar. Edited February 12, 2024 by Sergio Mendacious Quote
