There'll be no table to look at until the end of Week 2, but there is business from the sign-up thread to take care of. We've had 20 people declare an interest so far, of whom 16 are returning players. As usual, newcomers are welcome until the end of the month, but anyone who doesn't have a D2D side by the end of the first international round will be thrown out of the league. Speaking of that round - I note with worry that my usual stand-in Two-Face hasn't signed up yet, and I've stupidly made travel plans for the turn of September once again, so I was hoping he'd post that card. Oh well. That's a problem for a few weeks' time. Luckily I probably won't have the budget to go abroad again this year. Anyway, for this reason I'm directing players' attentions especially towards the second post of the earlier thread. None of the 4 potential newbies has sent me a PM yet, which isn't so surprising, but I don't have a D2D team listed for 3 of those who took part last season either. Sorry if I missed your PM while I was in Glasgow, but I don't think I deleted any without adding the info to my spreadsheet. To those who have sent PMs, thanks. Thank you also for all the kind words in both those and the thread, as well as your own analyses of last season's performance. There's been no overlap among anybody's three Dare 2 Disagree choices up to this point, but there is only one international slot left (in March). Since most of the restrictions on which clubs people can choose were caused by outlandish picks from Rory, we're getting his turn out of the way first. His list was once again very... shall we say, eclectic. Actually, come to think of it, I'm going to put the opening set of 10 in a separate so that participants actually take a glance at the above wall of text.
