Well, we're in the strange position that there's no table to link to until next week, but I thought I'd finish off this round with a mini-write-up anyway. So, Rory got his D2D wrong, as mentioned above, and among the other 22 participants this time out, 15 rightly disagreed with him to claim their bonus points. These included the top 3 scorers for the week: The Ratt with 14 points, snowman dave a further point back on a baker's dozen, and TildeGuy with 12. MoKonjic and SNRN10 also made it into double figures. In all, 25 people signed up for this year's FPL. Of those, one declared new player didn't play this week and has no D2D team, so I presume he won't be joining us after all. Another newcomer went to the trouble of PMing me but then curiously sat out this opening round as well. Worst of all, one *returning* player took part this time despite not yet having a D2D side to his name. Sort it out before I have to cite you in one of these threads! Away from the thrills of the Icelandic league, most people didn't see the result at Wembley coming, and nobody got the exact scoreline correct there. Another 3-0 reverse at Pittodrie was also difficult to foresee, but the draw at Dens Park and a victory on the road for Caley Thistle proved more fruitful. Three home wins and a score draw in the second tier in England yielded useful numbers for a majority of you, whilst a home defeat for the 2012 champions meant more of a mixed bag in France. That's your lot for this week then, folks. Things should start settling down to something approaching normality in this competition soon.
