I really don't understand what TNA are doing with Mark Andrews. He made his Impact debut last night teaming with Spud against The Bro-Mans. You would have thought they would have put him over strong. First thing that happens, Jessie has him in a gorilla press position above his head and is bench pressing him whilst walking around the ring. He then gets beaten down for the majority of the match until he makes the hot-tag to Spud (the smallest wrestler on the roster). He clears house, Andrews does the shooting star press for the win. Brodus Clay comes in and beats them both up. Taz was calling the win a major upset which is pretty harsh seeing as the Bro-Mans are a comedy enhancement team.

He's a newcomer to the TNA roster after winning a glorified talent show. Him and Spud (who has hardly been a competative wrestler) beating an established team, no matter if they're comedy or not, should be put over as an upset victory in my opinion. Him and Spud as the plucky underdogs would be a great pairing. Spud is fantastic in that role.

Yeah, because nobody ever made any money off of pushing someone right from their debut. Ever.

There is a massive difference being an underdog and looking like a job guy. Andrews only piece of offense was his finisher. You say Spud has hardly been a competative wrestler, but he saved Andrews and got them the win. So how good does that make Andrews look? Also British Boot Camp was billed by Samoa Joe as "finding the very best talent in the UK." If that was the very best from the UK getting thrown around by the Bro-Mans. Then we are in trouble.

 

Shoe-horning him into Spud's EC3 storyline is the wrong decision, when he should be the face of the x-division. Hide his size weaknesses and exploit his aerial advantages.

Good show so far, with some pretty big matches taking place already. Spud just bled a bucket full in his match just now. Only downer is some of the smellies running to ringside every 5 mins, blocking everyone else's view!
