Paid Members tiger_rick Posted September 21, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted September 21, 2015 I started episode one of the New Gen pods the other day and lasted five minutes. It was rotten. Wooden delivery from a guy with the personality of a dead pig. Â It sounded like a conversation between Julian Radbourne and his imaginery friends. You should probably skip to late 94 like I previously mentioned, the seem to find themselves and the rhythm of the show.
Sphinx
I tried the New Gen one for a Nitro in '96. I turned it off after 20 minutes or so because everything was too 'nice'.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted September 21, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) Listened to Squared Circle's Good, Bad & Ugly of 1992 from a while ago. That's a cracking show with some great feedback. Oddly the first feedback they read was from me on here. I didn't even know I'd responded. I think I have early Alzheimer's.Not to blow smoke up his arse just because he posts here but Liam is a really good host. He's confident, literate and knowledgable and controls the discussion really well without killing spontaneity. It's here btw http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean.com/mf/web/xdp2sv/SCGRadio15-TheGoodBadandUglyof1992.mp3 Edited September 21, 2015 by tiger_rick

WyattSheepMask
The new episode of the New Generation podcast, which covers Survivor Series 1996, is an absolute whopper at 3hrs 27minutes
Paid Members Accident Prone Posted September 24, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted September 24, 2015 Three and a half hours? Fucking hell. I'd be all over that if it were an episode of AE Podcast/Cinema Swirl/How2Wrestling but i don't know far the dryness of NGP will fair with me at that length. I enjoy the show but there are times when i think "Come on lads, get on with it". I'm going to have to go at show in chunks; do an hour, listen to Bill Burr's podcast, do an hour, listen to Doug Stanhope's podcast and then the final hour and a half. Paid Members WWFChilli Posted September 24, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted September 24, 2015 I don't know how anyone listens to How2Wrestling at all. State of that show. As I've stated before, I bloody love NGP, but I work night shifts so whopper podcasts help.
Paid Members Accident Prone Posted September 24, 2015 Paid Members Share Posted September 24, 2015 How2Wrestling is doing a pretty job if their Patreon numbers are anything to go by. I seem to be in the minority here but i love Kefin's voice and humour, hence why i get along with his shows so well.
icke83
Does anyone else on here listen to InYourHead? http://www.inyourheadonline.com/
Fanny Pack
Kefin and his merry gang of jabronis which now includes his missus are awful. If his podcasts were a wrestler they would be 2001 X-Pac.
Freebird
The best podcast currently doing the rounds is Between The Sheets with Kris Zellner and David Bixenspan.
