Jizzlobber Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 How'a Flair's podcast now? I only listened a few of the first ones and droppped off with it. Is the MLW podcast worth a listen in terms of the interviews they do? All the Flair shows have been good to great except for the Russo one which I couldn't stomach to the end.
Paid Members WWFChilli Posted September 8, 2015 Paid Members Posted September 8, 2015 I like Maffew on Botchamania and in person for a conversation.but he's the shits on a podcast, especially with OSW. The NewGen lads have overtaken OSW for me atm. Consistent output and a fun timeline wins for me at the moment.
WyattSheepMask Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Maffew has some funny quips but he is a bit monotone. I'm sure he's a lovely guy but I can do with just doing his Botchamania stuff. NewGen are reviewing the Kliq DVD set this week, should be a good
Make It Reign Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Don't suppose one nice person can post the link for NewGen please as I would like to give their podcast a go, any particular NewGen show worth listening to as well please.
WyattSheepMask Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 They're on iTunes, Soundcloud and Stitcher. Just give them a whirl from the beginning, they found their stride pretty quickly. The 95 and 96 Royal Rumbles have them doing it live as they watch the rumble Match which is quite entertaining
gbacon85 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 https://soundcloud.com/newgenpodcast My favourite at the moment as well. The latest episode is excellent. The start with all the gimmick match suggestions is so funny. "Gay Chicken Match"

Make It Reign Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Is that the famous Brent from the Bryan & Vinny show or another Brent, thanks for the links by the way.

Jimmy Boy Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 i really enjoy the MLW podcasts - especially the bauer and pollock and the sunday night ones with MSL and konnan. Cornettes is always good for a laugh too
Yakashi Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 The Steve Austin show this week with Jake Roberts was fantastic. Jake is an amazing storyteller and really should be involved in the WWE in some way be it NXT, booking or as an agent. Just tremendous.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted September 10, 2015 Paid Members Posted September 10, 2015 They had him writing television in late 96/early 97. Jake's a proper old school genius in the sense that he's a fantastic con artist. He hasnt got the best track record of helping anyone other than himself. I doubt WWE would ever hire him as a regular anything. He wouldnt be able to travel with the company to the UK either, which is a massive market.
Paid Members Benno Posted September 10, 2015 Paid Members Posted September 10, 2015 I really liked the MLW podcasts early on but there's only so much Court Bauer you can tolerate before he exposes himself. He's all buzzwords, recycling the same old Meltzer talking points, awkwardly name dropping whichever wrestler/promotion he's attached himself to whenever possible. The Bauer & Pollock show is absolutely insufferable.
Paid Members WWFChilli Posted September 10, 2015 Paid Members Posted September 10, 2015 He's a shifty cunt. I don't like him at all.
Paid Members Arch Stanton Posted September 10, 2015 Paid Members Posted September 10, 2015 I reckon there's a chance Steve Austin was wanking himself off during his phone conversation with Kelly Kelly on his podcast recently. Specifically, the point where he told her he was watching her ECW striptease routine on his computer while they were talking. Austin seems just as smitten with her as the UKFF's own Bellend!
